A Wet Wednesday Morning

A Wet Wednesday Morning

Woke up to this

and this.

My stomach was still full from my Biggest Loser Bash last night (yes, yes, the party by myself). Too much Cheesy Wild Bread STUFT Style. Ugh. Or maybe it was that second glass of wine. Oops.

Anyway……. I have a huge “to do” list to tackle and I MUST organize/clean the office so this will be quick. For breakfast I doubled the recipe for the Biggie Banana Bread Bake and made some muffins. I used a little agave syrup instead of splenda.

Will NOT be using paper muffin cups again. Really? Grrr….. hate that.

Would it work if I sprayed them first? Hmm…

Anyway….. tried to get the boys to do a little workout for me to post (they know jumping jacks, froggie jumps and push ups), but they didn’t cooperate very well. Maybe later today and I can include it on the Wednesday Workout post. Smile

Smoothies today…..

  • fresh spinach
  • roasted beets
  • vanilla yogurt
  • blood orange juice
  • frozen carrot cubes
  • organic soymilk
  • a little agave syrup

They were a little tangy for my taste, but I’m not a big citrus fan. The boys dug them though (and their new chairs from Grandma). Smile

Um… and how cool that the chairs have a cup holder, right? I could NOT stop smiling/laughing (it was the first time I saw the chairs in action).

Right now I’m snacking on a little Fuji apple with some cream cheese/PB2/Naturally More spread. Delicious. Here’s how I whipped it up:

Peanutty Cream Cheese Spread

  • 2 tbsp. fat free cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp. PB2
  • 1 splenda packet
  • a little soymilk
  • 1 tbsp. Naturally More

Combine cream cheese, PB2 and splenda. Mix together and add a little soymilk to get a creamy consistency. Then mix in the Naturally More. ( I like to just barely mix it in so there are big lumps of Naturally More in there).

You can put this stuff on anything. I love it with some flatout cinnamon crisps or just on a piece of toast or even on a Vitatop. YU-UM!!!!! It has about 170 calories and over 10 grams of protein so it’s perfect to get a little protein fix.  Here a little peak at the snack I just polished off.

Stay dry out there. Here are some flowers that my man brought home for me yesterday. Smile Awwww………

I can’t wait to try the spead! It looks great:) You have such great, healthy snacks-love them! The boys are too cute-they remind me of Andrew’s mom. I went to school with Andrew’s brother Gerard and grew up with the whole clan. I look forward to trying your workout. Thanks!
