Happy Tuesday friends! Smile

My Bachelor Pad “party” got cut short last night since I had to make it into bed by my new curfew (midnight). Why the heck do they make it 3 hours long?

Hello Cheesy Wild Bread STUFT Style (on Trader Joe’s wheat pizza crust).

Oh, and hello Chris Harrison. Long time, no see.

Wait, what? Really?

I still have the second half to watch so don’t tell me what happens. Hopefully I’ll have some time tonight.

Oh, and look, I have my phone in the same place as usual. That’s nice. I bet that’s not one of the 7 Tips for the Best Sleep Ever. Ha!

This morning I was up bright and early to “clean” the office. Looks good doesn’t it?

Don’t be fooled. It’s all in that box on the right. I’m NOT looking forward to opening that.

Then to Strollerwise class at the park. Look at all these awesome mamas. SmileThe are fabulous (and so are their kids). That’s Ari from the Diva Dish in there too. It’s fun to “blog talk” while we work out!

After class I couldn’t put if off anymore. We NEEDED dog food (I gave Turk crumbs this morning), so we made the trek to Costco. It’s really only 10 minutes away, but feel FAR. I take forever in there. In my head it’s always a quick trip in and out, but that never happens. I guess it doesn’t help that everyone wants to stop and talk about twins, but really, I need to work on speeding things up. The boys were awesome (thanks to snacks on the road and some Bagel Bites Pizza samples).

Or maybe it was just because they were rocking their shades.

I stocked up on my favorite bread, the jalapeño yogurt dip I’m now obsessed with (thanks Shannon), bananas, organic spinach, romaine,

a rotisserie chicken for $4.99,

almond butter, a new multigrain pancake mix to try,

marinara (best price although I think I like Trader Joe’s organic marinara better)

and a bottle of the new Skinnygirl White Sangria (have to support my idol Bethenny). I got a lot of other stuff ($400 to be exact), but was too tired to take pictures.

and unloading the car are NOT my favorite things. If I’m lucky the boys entertain themselves.

Today happened to be my lucky day. Smile

So to return the favor, I made them some of these amazing smoothies.

Cherry Cheesecake Smoothies

handful fresh spinach

3/4 cup frozen cherries

3/4 cup low fat cottage cheese

1 tablespoon agave

1- 1 1/4 cup vanilla soymilk

Put all ingredients in blender and blend. (I could probably skip writing this.)

These guys ate sipped them right up.

Disclaimer- these following pictures are not from today. Same smoothies, different day. (The last thing I wanted to do after unloading the car was take more pictures. Sorry.)

I’ve made them without the spinach before and yesterday I subbed in some kale instead. Feel free to experiment. SmileThey really do taste like cherry cheesecake.

And then, if you’re like me, you might need one of these.

Chocolate Cherry Smoothie

handful fresh spinach

1/2-3/4 cup frozen cherries

2 tablespoons cocoa powder  (I used my favorite cocoa powder– Hershey’s dark cocoa)

1 tablespoon instant espresso (optional)

1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I used Designer Whey Vanilla Almond)

1 cup nondairy milk alternative (I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk)

additional sweetener if needed (I added one pack on Splenda)

Mmm………… that’s what every Costco trip should end with. Smile

Oh and there’s still time to get your FREE Dannon coupon. Just click here and “like” their Facebook page. This yogurt is YUM-MY! Smile

Have a great day! Do you have a love/hate relationship with Costco too or is it just me?

The fact that you can make it through a grocery run with your boys still in the cart @ checkout makes you a rockstar in my book. Before I’m even a 1/4th of a way through my list, Easton is crawling out of the cart onto my back when I bend down to get something off the bottom of a shelf. ( He’s a houdini..or he’s just too skinny..he can wriggle out of the strap on my cart cover!) I would LOVE to be able to pick up wine on a grocery run!!! (wine in grocery stores is a no-no here! Boo!) The bread looks really good..I love me some pizza and ranch….mmmm….

(the wine comment was in reference to another post I read of yours earlier today…oops! I had a mind jumble. Don’t worry..it happens a lot now that I’m a mom. Ugh.

I definitely have a love/hate relationship with Costco too – love all the samples and everything in bulk, but it takes forever to get through. And TJ’s marinara is definitely the best, love it!

And I absolutely love Bethanny too – I hope she has another season of her show! I love her Skinnygirl Margaritas but I like ’em super sweet so I add a couple packets of Splenda to it 😉 How’s the Sangria?!

I know this is an old post but I am definitely trying the chocolate cherry smoothie tomorrow lunch! I’ve been looking for a recipe to use my frozen cherries and everything on your ingredient list is in my pantry :). Hershey’s dark cocoa powder is my favorite as well, I put that stuff in everything!
