Will Work for Food- Peanut Butter Chocomallow Cheerio Treats

I know I’ve been doing a lot of talking about chocolate lately. I’ll try to take a break after this post, but I just have to share the recipe for these.
Before I get to the recipe lets talk some yummy food. Last night my sister-in-law hooked me up with some broccoli slaw just in time for The Biggest Loser premiere.I have not been a happy camper without it. She found some at Trader Joe’s for me and thanks to her, I got to celebrate the new season of The Biggest Loser in style. Trader Joe’s better not try to pull any more tricks like that. Ha!
Broccoli slaw spaghetti with cheese sandwiches. It had been so long (about 5 days). Smile
Dinner and my boyfriend Bob did NOT disappoint.
This morning the boys and I had to hit up the Mighty Chocolate Microwave Muffin again (while still in our pajamas). I made the banana version with almond extract. It just might be my favorite.
Ha ha! We didn’t eat them plain silly. Do we ever?
The boys talked me into making some Creamalicious Frosting and putting a little Nuttzo on them too.
I should stop letting them tell me what to do.
Later today they tried to get their way again and talk me into some treats. I wasn’t as easy to convince this time.
Here’s where the working for food came in.
They were getting desperate. I was playing hardball.
They tried really hard to get on my good side.

(The camera had to put away quickly after this last picture. I’m sure you can imagine why. Joaquin with a spray hose is not a good thing.)
So they didn’t do the best job, but it was their first time so I can’t complain.
I decided they definitely earned some treats.
Lucky for you they also convinced me to share the recipe! Smile
A few pictures along the way.
These little lovelies are rich, chocolaty, peanut buttery and also fabulous frozen.
Have you tried Chocolate Cheerios? (They are amazing!)
Do you ever make yourself “work for food”?
Sometimes I make myself finish a project or do a workout before I let myself have a special treat. He he!

I love how you’re training the boys to “work.” Fast fwd a couple of years…and you will need to pay them. Start saving NOW! I consider myself quite a food fundi…and I must say…I STILL learn something new every day by reading your blog. You introduce food that I would never have thought of. I love it. Sorry I’ve missed many of your Thurs classes at the Y. Between soccer practices, back to school functions…hubby out of town one week, I just haven’t had a chance to make it. I will be back (Arnold voice)
