This post isn’t going to be about me. I’ve gone on and on all week about myself and my winnings. I’m sure you’ve had enough. I may take your suggestions though about buying some lottery tickets.
Today it’s about Flat Kitty, some yummy eats and some birthdays.
Okay, wait, so I lied. I have to share some highlights of the morning:
Subbing a 6 am spin class in my pajama tank top. (I hope they didn’t notice.)
Best comment after the class- “so I assume by that picture you have a cat”. I didn’t explain. I contemplated asking him to take a picture, but I didn’t want to seem weird.
Two trips to Starbucks (yes, two- one after spin for a soy latte and one after work for an unsweetened black tea with 2 Splenda packets) and a yummy snack of Trader Joe’s lite kettle corn.
Working on the laptop at Toyota while waiting for my car. This was a first for me. You know, the whole working in public thing.
Trying to keep my eyes open and not embarrassed at all to take pictures of this cool cat.
Leaving Flat Kitty at the dealership. Instead of getting upset though, I just made a new one once I got home.
I even did a little something special with it.
Ha ha ha! I told you that would be cool! Don’t you want one?
We’ll see how well he withstands the cold cup.
In the cup- Yogurt Banana Mocha Smoothie:
1/2 cup Kirkland nonfat Greek yogurt, handful of spinach (Bob says), a frozen banana, 2 tablespoons my favorite cocoa powder, 1 tablespoon instant espresso, 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 2 Splenda packets
Blended in my Vita of course.
Okay, really enough about me.
Let’s celebrate Flat Kitty Friday with a little Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Dip.
He had a great idea the other day that was inspired by Peanut Butter Doughtzel Balls.
I had just whipped up some updated Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Dip for the boys and I.
Then this guy had a brilliant idea to add some fun.
I crushed up 4 of those peanut butter filled pretzels and 1 Baker’s semi-sweet baking square.
I added them to half of a batch of the dip (the boys ate the other half) with a tablespoon of Naturally More peanut butter.
Um, yeah.
It went really well with some Flatout cinnamon crisps that had a little extra sprinkle from the Trader Joe’s Sugar, Chocolate and Coffee Bean Grinder.
Oops, sorry. I can’t take credit. It was someone else’s idea to add the sprinkles.
And it was fabulous!
And now to make up for being a rotten friend this week, it’s time to wish some very special people a Happy Birthday:
To my sister–in-law Bernadette, my dear friend Jenna, my bestest high school friend Jaime and
my best friend/college roommate Deena-
This is for you!
I love you all!!!
And for the rest of you that may not have had a birthday this week. This is for you!
Thank goodness it’s Flat Kitty Friday! (Yes, we love disco wigs around here.)
Have a wonderful night and a great weekend!
I can’t wait to catch up on some sleep and spend time with my main man.
Move over boyfriend, it’s STUFT daddy time!

WOW! I’m literally speechless, Kristin! lol…how long have you been doing Stuft Kitty Friday’s?? And where did you even get that cutout??
Lindsay- Flat Kitt’s been around for a couple months now. I had to make him because REAL Kitty is such a character. (And because I’m a little koo koo.) My friend made the cutouts for me. 🙂
I just ate half a pizza and this made me hungry again…
And that flat kitty – I’m going to have to read more on where he came from cuz it’s freakin’ hilarious!
Samantha- Only a half? I usually polish off a whole. 🙂 Yes, read wear he came from if you need a good laugh. He makes me smile every week (not as much as real Kitty though). 🙂
Love flat kitty and your delicious recipes! Sounds like you had a fun, busy week! 🙂
Liz- I miss you!!!! This week has bee nutzo! When is your next day off so we can go jogging? 🙂 Hope you’re doing well!
