Not to be confused with these Schweddy Balls.
Before I get to the
Schweddy SunButter balls, here’s what I devoured for lunch after my long training run today (17.5 miles).
A pretty perfect Flatout wrap if you ask me.
While I was running today I thought about how running is really selfish sometimes. I forget how time consuming marathon training is. I feel bad sometimes that I’m using my time to run instead of catching up with emails, taking care of my boys, returning phone calls from friends, cleaning the house, etc.
Does anyone else ever feel like that?
On the other hand I think of running as a gift. Somehow along the way I was blessed with the ability to run. Fifteen years ago I couldn’t run because I had such bad back problems. Over the past eight years or so though I really started to love it. I better use my gift while I have it, right?
(A quick little shout out to Grandma D for babysitting. Thanks for letting me use my “gift” today Mom.)
Sorry, enough rambling.
Hey, I rambled just enough though that now I’m eating this.
Nonfat Greek yogurt with a few regular oats, some SunButter and fresh blueberries.
Now I’m going to show you a bunch of STUFT SunButter Doughtzel Ball pictures.
Because I just wrote a little guest post for SunButter and I felt it was my job to create a SunButter version of Peanut Butter Doughtzel Balls.
You’d rather see a bunch of pictures of balls than read my rambling anyway, right?
Here you go.
Um.. oops. In case you’re wondering, yes, you can just eat the dough and yes, it’s fabulous.
That wasn’t me.
Do you want to make them yet?
Check out the post on the SunButter website. Just click this link.
I’m planning on making some of these for our house guests that are here this weekend. I’m going to bribe them with balls to not look in the closet.
Happy Friday! Have a wonderful weekend!
Do you bake cookies for the holidays? If so, what are your favorites?
