I’m writing my post tonight as opposed tomorrow morning because although I’m liking my attempt to write posts in the morning, I’m still having trouble leaving myself enough time for a good breakfast and actually getting out the door on time.
I can’t let that happen tomorrow. It’s a big day. Yep, it’s a double date day. I need to try to impress.
In no particular order here are a few things that I’ve learned lately.
My blog is a mess.
I have so many recipes that I have not linked up on my recipes page. I’m pretty sure it’s going to take me hours to go back and try to organize that. I’m not looking forward to it, but it needs to be done.
I also need to do a whole week on some “favorites”. Maybe I’ll do that next week. A new “favorite” each day (kitchen gadgets, protein bars, pantry must-haves, etc.). Hmmm…..
I can pretty much kill any house plant. This is our last semi-surviving one. I was told last year by STUFT daddy that I wasn’t allowed to buy plants anymore because I kill everything. He also told me that it’s nearly impossible to kill this particular plant (it used to be huge). I might just prove him wrong.
I should not have Judah count my stair laps for me while trying to workout in the backyard. He will only give me credit for “2” every time. It was cute at first, but by my 10th lap (“2” on Judah’s count) it was a little frustrating.
I am one lucky girl that after my car accident all I have is a little soreness and this small seatbelt burn.
Flat Kitty likes Bud Light Lime (and so do I).
It’s always easy to tell what side of the taco pie is mine (even Flat Kitty knows).
This whole nighttime routine of marching around the house and playing “music” could start getting old.
While that “music” may get old very soon, eating Taco Pie for date night never will (but eating it while watching Jersey Shore might).
It is a really good idea to add some amaretto to a STUFT-rita on date night. It is also a good idea to sweet talk Mom and Dad into handing over a little of their tequila to save a few bucks. (We’re on a budget, okay?)
It is not a good idea to travel with berry kale smoothie for the boys in the car (I had a berry kale green tea smoothie for myself) unless you want purple/green dots on your ceiling and Joaquin to keep repeating “smoothie, up there”.
I never seem to learn from just one mistake. As if smoothie all over my car wasn’t enough, today Joaquin’s smoothie ended up all over the stroller and on his pants.
Drinking my STUFT salted caramel mocha out of a cute travel coffee mug makes me think I’m cool.
Speaking of cool, I really think you want one of these (the Flat Kitty, not the travel mug).
Email me so you can get in on the Flat Kitty Friday fun. I’ve already seen some of the adventures he’s been on so far. He is one lucky cat. Not to mention he’s just plain fun to hang out with. Don’t forget to send me your pictures so I can link you up this Friday.
That is a 10 pound weight Joaquin picks up. That guy is crazy. Speaking of, his nose is like that from his attempt to ride a big boy scooter.
I have a hole in the crotch of my pants. You can’t see it though. Ha ha ha!
I’m not sure what Turk is doing behind me. Enjoying the view? Or maybe he spotted the hole in my pants.
Check out Tuesday Trainer today if you’re looking for a great lower body workout. Lindsay does an awesome job putting all the moves together and all the trainers over there just rock.
I’m off to bed early tonight. I need to be at my best tomorrow for a special “club date”.
