Ha ha ha! You know, like “panty raid”. Funny stuff, huh?
I can’t take credit for that awesome title. That’s all my friend Christin. She is one funny lady.
This post was fun because I got to sneak a peak in everyone’s pantry. Isn’t it fun being nosy? I remember watching a Bethany Ever After episode when she opened her fridge and I kept rewinding it to try to see everything she had stashed in their. Is that weird?
We’ll start Flat Kitty’s pantry raid at the STUFT house and then move on from there.
Ready?
He just sought out a few of his favorites staples to share.
My favorite soymilk ever.
The necessities for broccoli slaw spaghetti or my broccoli slaw concoction.
The main ingredients for healthy cookie dough dip.
Some whole grains. I’ve been making a new version of the green microwave muffin lately with quinoa and let me just say it is fabulous. I’ll post it next week (after I taste test it a few more times-he he). That brown jasmine rice from Trader Joe’s is good stuff too. One thing missing from these pictures is coconut flour. I always have at least a bag of that on hand.
Just a few cans of pumpkin and
and a couple nut butter choices.
The boys wanted to make sure I showed their favorite Coach’s Oats pancake mix from Costco. It makes the best gourmet green pancakes.
And I can’t wait to open one of these after my marathon Sunday.
Ha ha.
Let’s see what else this guy found.
He found another secret pumpkin stash over at Sara’s house.
Then he tried to hide in her chocolate.
(Hey, she has the coconut flour I was missing from my photos).
He found all sorts of fun stuff over at Erin’s house.
(Ooo.. I want to try that green salsa from Trader Joe’s.)
He spotted the peanut butter pretzels at my friend Jenn’s house. I’m pretty sure he demanded that she make some Peanut Butter Doughtzel Balls with those. I hope she made him happy.
At Sandy’s he tried to steal some tuna (and admired her cool recipes on the wall).
He went straight for the caffeine at Jenny’s house up in Canada. In her words “the darker the better” when it comes to coffee.
I hear you friend. The same goes for chocolate. Ha ha!
At Sara’s he went straight for the peanut butter
and then wanted to show us the True Lemon and True Orange packets.
I have never tried them, but Sara and Flat Kitty are convincing me to go buy some.
Holy moly, my new friend Nicole had all sorts of amazing finds in her pantry.
I would really like to visit her house. Maybe Flat Kitty and I could trade places.
Over at Sarena’s he was really busy. He tried to be one of the men of the house and eat some gluten free pretzels.
Then he helped make some Keep Your Hands off Mama’s Spicy Spinach and Chicken Enchiladas.
Sure he “helps” her. He is NO help around here.
I guess he also discovered his love for boxed wine and nooch there too. Looks like he’s fitting right in.
At Christin’s he tried to sneak a peak in her freezer
then got distracted when he spotted some chia seeds.
(That happens to me too.)
He also discovered something new that I have yet to try and checked out her variety of baking chips for her amazing cookie recipe.
His last pantry raid was at my local friend Denise’s house. He checked out some of her latest finds.
I want to try that Red pepper Spread. Denise says it’s awesome, only has 15 calories per serving and has a spicy kick.
Phew. That was a lot of staring at different foods. Now I’m hungry.
Ha ha!
Thanks so much for sending in your Flat Kitty pictures! It was fun.
What should we do next week? Favorite breakfast? Take Flat Kitty to work? Favorite workout?
We’re signing off for the weekend. Yes, we.
It’s time to rest for my upcoming marathon on Sunday and to focus on being a good mama. I feel like I haven’t done a great job with that this week.
Oh, and by the way, I really regret posting those two goals the other day. I’m not sure either one is attainable, but I guess it’s better to shoot for the stars than not at all, yes?
Have a wonderful weekend.

Best of luck on Sunday!!
I’m jealous of all the PB2 I see in those pictures 🙂
Thanks Jenny. I know we need to get you some PB2 up in Canada. It goes really well with dark coffee. 🙂
After some research I found out I can order it online from iherb.com for just $6 shipping – I can deal with that!
Oh good. 🙂 Can’t wait for you to get it. 🙂
Mmm….marmite! Good luck this weekend – can we track you online or only finisher’s results?
I’ve never had marmite. Have you? I need to try it one of these days. 🙂
Yes – love it! My understanding is most people who haven’t tried vegemite or marmite as a kid don’t like it, but I loved it!! Vegemite is better (Australia, NZ), so marmite was a bit more of an acquired taste (UK). Great source of B12 = energy!
You are too kind, Kristin! 🙂
That red pepper spread in the last photo is SO GOOD. I’ve done a couple of TJ’s swaps with other bloggers (they send me TJ’s stuff and I send them local and/or homemade goodies) and I’ve gotten that stuff twice. It’s like crack. And now I’m super lamenting my lack of a TJ’s, grrr! 😉
I’m so sad abotu your lack of TJ’s. That may be a pretty good reason to relocate. ha ha! I need to get my hands on that dip. I’d totally be up for a little TJ’s swap with you if you want! 🙂
Oh yes, I would absolutely love to do a TJ’s swap with you!! We’ll have to work that out SOON! 🙂
I also much confess to an odd obsession with what people keep in their pantries… I think it is because I am a food-aholic? lol! My pantry is currently VERY sad looking… I have not done a good grocery shop to stock up since um… November?!? So excited for you for your marathon! I’ll be keeping an eye on twitter and fb!
He he. Kinley- me too! I always want to look in other people’s cupboards and stuff. Sounds like you need a good grocery shopping trip! 🙂
Your pantry is amazing!! Our real pantry is in the laundry room (OK shelves in our laundry room = where we store excess goods. But it is far too unattractive to photograph.) Our local WF’s was out of PB2 when I went 🙁 What a fun post! I vote for Flat Kitty at Work!
Sara- Flat Kitty at work is a good idea. Our pantry is just a couple years old. Our old make shift pantry was a couple of wire shelves in our workout/storage room. It wasn’t pretty. 🙂 Ha ha!
ahhh, my printer won’t work! Flat kitty so wants to be in my NZ pantry eating marmite and sippin on some good sauvingnon blanc!
Darn it! I would love to see Flat Kitty in NZ pics. PS- I’m on a mission to find marmite because of you now. 🙂
What a fun post! We have matching pumpkin stashes (surprise) and heck yes I’ve got the coconut flour! I want to go visit Jenny in Canada and get in on that coffee action. Get some good rest and family time in…you know, until you have to run 26.2 miles. I shall await your new green muffin recipe in breathless anticipation.
I was totally laughing writing the post with our matching pumpkin and coconute flour stashes. Ha ha! The green muffin has your name all over it! I even added extra cinnamon for you! 🙂
Flat Kitty has been busy! Apparently he found a nice stash of goods out there! Get some rest my friend and I wish you tons of speed/energy for Sunday!
Flat Kitty and Tony are best friends. I can just tell. I’m not jealous or anything…….. 🙂 Maybe you could put Flat Kitty to work timing your new Tabata workout if you try it. he he!
Is Flat Kitty on his way to Michigan?
My vote for next week: Flat Kitty works out
Yes he is, but there was a little delay because water got spilled all over the envelope that was ready to be sent. Hope he gets there soon. 🙂 Working it out- that would be a really fun Flat Kitty post. 🙂
I could not stop laughing while reading this. Awesome!!! I wish I had a color printer so I could play with flat kitty.
Good luck with the Marathon! I hope flat kitty left you some of that wine to celebrate with. 😉
I cna send you one in the mail if you want Laura. he is kind of fun to play with. 🙂 Oh and he better keep his paws off my wine or it’s going to be trouble. 🙂
This is a really fun post! Flat Kitty gets around… it’s always fun to see what’s in other people’s pantrys…pantries? Best wishes on the marathon! I guess it’s over by now, but I look forward to hearing about it!
I know, he does get aroudn doesn’t he? Ha ha. I love looking in other people’s pantries too.
