Oh man, this Flat Kitty guy is something else. Really. He was supposed to have his act together for a Flat Kitty Friday post last week. The fact that it is almost a week later is all his fault of course, not mine.
He has sure gotten around though. This guy has been “working” his magic everywhere. Going to work, just “working it” with some friends and around the house, etc. He’s one busy fellow. Let’s check out his adventures, shall we?
Flat Kitty got to cheer my friend Heather at Better With Veggies on while she ran her first 50K. Yes, that’s right, a 50K. Holy smokes, this lady is awesome! You can check out her race recap here and see what else Flat Kitty was up to while she raced.
He also got to help Sarah in the kitchen making some of her
that look absolutely delicious. I’ve got to try those.
Speaking of helping around the kitchen, this guy also talked my friend Erin into making some three ingredient fudge.
Oh… fudge. Love that stuff. The boys have been eating it every night around here for dessert too. I just posted a picture of the aftermath on my Facebook page. They call it “baNAna PUdding”. I call it “I guess I’ll do baths while Andrew cleans up the highchairs”.
Over in Jenny’s neck of the woods Flat Kitty kept her company at her work desk. She was trying to work, but he kept distracting her with the more important stuff like blog reading and Lululemon shopping.
That’s my guy.
My other Canadian friend Bonnie also let Flat Kitty accompany her to work. She’s a fellow mobile personal trainer so he got to help plan some workouts and then go out and about to her client’s house.
Dang, I want one of those cool GymBoss interval timers she’s got. I wish he would work his magic and snag me one of those for boot camp.
And, um Bonnie, I’m not sure it’s very nice to take Flat Kitty out in that cold weather with his bare chest and all. Just saying. Maybe he needs his man boobs covered up or something.
I’m not sure if she took his advice or not. Something tells me she may not have (and that she really likes post-its). Whatever happened, all I know is that he somehow made his way onto her massage table to try to get one of her fabulous massages.
He also got to help Sarena study for her upcoming personal training test.
He’s got a thing for trainers (and for Sarena’s husband Tony). He was trying to share some tips with her that he learned from Bob when they met “In the Club Again”.
Locally he got to tag along to the middle school where I used to teach PE. Those are my friends Denise and Laurie. Aren’t they cute?
It was twin day. I wonder who would be Flat Kitty’s twin. Hmm….
He also got to really make an appearance with my friend Jessica who teaches band at that same school.
He got to play a few instruments.
His attempt to be the conductor must not have gone over too well because he got himself an infraction. (I really don’t miss writing those.)
He’s got a pretty good signature though, huh?
I guess he sang his way out of his punishment.
I taught him well.
And now for his “work” with our STUFT family.
I actually talked STUFT Daddy into taking him around while he took care of the animals. I still can’t believe I actually got him to send me some pictures, but I guess he knew I would not be fun to deal with if he didn’t deliver. He did not disappoint. Just so you know, these pictures were not taken at his actual job at the Safari Park. All these animals are STUFT Daddy’s side job/hobby. Yes, they are all family owned. Yes I know it’s awesome. Ha ha!
First he chatted it up with Coco the parrot.
Then he tried to convince Andrew he didn’t need a new truck and that he should just drive this awesome tractor around instead.
Supposedly he got stuck in a bear trap, but I think someone else had a little something to do with that.
He got to kick it with some pheasants
then hang out with some tortoises
and then try to steal some food from some innocent chickens.
His work day wasn’t complete without a special visit to his favorite bird.
Do you know what bird that is? Oh man, if you don’t you’re missing out. Andrew just happen to have raised a famous one of those birds that appeared on Jimmy Kimmel awhile back. Click here to check it out (and find out what kind of bird this is).
Flat Kitty and I have had our share of fun over the past few months. I have at least a couple different jobs each day. It’s hard to keep each day straight. I’m a business owner, group fitness instructor at different clubs, personal trainer, PE teacher, mom, want-a-be blogger and YouTube video maker, etc. I decided to just take him to a few of my jobs.
He went up with me to LA for my most recent visit to see my trainer Bob.
Yes, I am aware that my LA trips are not paid, but it would be my dream job so I’m counting it.
He also helped me pack some pretty delicious snacks for the drive home.
I snagged those veggies from the shoot and there was also an additional protein bar in my bag (not pictured) in case of emergency. That “emergency” happened about 10 minutes after I polished off all these snacks. Ha ha!
He made it to the gym with me last week to one of my favorite classes to teach.
My attempt to take a picture of myself with my cool microphone failed, but at least I got a good one of all my hardworking friends.
They weren’t really smiling like that anymore at the end of class. They are awesome for putting up with me. He he.
Lastly, Flat Kitty wanted to make sure I featured my main job.
The best job.
The job that is truly a gift to have every single day.
Chasing these two guys around.
Flat Kitty just got “worked” in the sandbox. Good thing I have a few others around.
And that’s a wrap.
Thanks so much for sending in your pictures. This guy always knows how to put a smile on my face. I hope he did the same for you today.
The boys and I even shot a video with him yesterday in the kitchen. I’m hoping to have it up in the next few days.
Have a good one!
