STUFT in the Kitchen- Flatout Parmesan Crisps

Aren’t they pretty?

They’re not from STUFT Daddy. They’re from some of my wonderful boot camp ladies this past weekend. We had our one year boot camp anniversary last Saturday and I have the best group of ladies that come every week. I just love them.

It just happened to be nice timing with Valentine’s Day and all since STUFT Daddy and I decided not to get each other anything. Ha ha!

Before I forget, the winner of the Horizon Organic coupon is Anna! Congrats! Email me your address and I’ll send you the coupon and a Flat Kitty!

Speaking of Flat Kitty he’s in our video today and the theme for this week is at the end of this post.

Today we have another little STUFT in the Kitchen video.

We shot it last week, but since I’ve been sick I didn’t get around to posting it. Today it’s ready.

We made our Flatout Parmesan Crisps.

Healthy, delicious parmesan crisps in 10 minutes? I’m going to say that’s Flatout fabulous!

Check it out.

Video notes:

The top of my head is cut off for the majority of the video. It’s a good thing I didn’t take time to do my hair. Classy.

I have some serious speaking issues. I was sick (that’s my excuse).

Flat Kitty and Kitty both help us out. .I really shouldn’t point out the fact that Kitty shows you his butt pretty much the entire time, but oh well. How appetizing.

Joaquin really like parmesan. You’ll see what I mean. (And cooking spray.)

Come hang out in the kitchen with all of us! He he! We’re kinda fun sometimes.

Ta da.

You can gobble these up just by themselves, dip them in Costco jalapeño yogurt dip, that new Spinach and Kale Greek Yogurt Dip from Trader Joe’s or crumble them on some Trader Joe’s Organic Tomato and Roasted Red Pepper Soup.

(Sorry, not the best picture.)

We make our kale chips the same way that we do these Flatout crisps. We made those yesterday for lunch.

I ate them with that same Trader Joe’s soup and a cheese sandwich made with a Flatout.

It was the prefect Valentine’s Day lunch with my men.

Red heart

In honor of the parmesan crisps being our new favorite snack around here…..

It’s Flat Kitty Friday snack week.

Email me a picture of Flat Kitty with your favorite snack (or snacks). I need the pictures by Thursday night to get them in Friday’s post. If you need a Flat Kitty (or don’t know what the heck I’m talking about) email me and I’ll get you one and fill you in on the Flat Kitty madness.

Fun fun fun! Can’t wait to see what you munch on. Oh great, now I’m hungry.

Okay, time to go. I hear Judah in the next room saying, “Mommy, where are you?”

We’ve got a really great kid friendly giveaway coming up tomorrow with our favorite yogurt! I’m so excited!

Have a good one!

That video was more than amusing! Tony and I laughed the whole time. You have quite the help going on in that kitchen! I would love to cook with you (and the boys and kitty) some day! There was a whole lot of kitty butt in that video too. You have such a cute little family! Thank you for my afternoon entertainment. Who needs cable when we can watch Stuft Mama tv? Have a great afternoon!

Oh Sarena- thanks for watchign the video. so glad it was entertaining. I totally thought of Tony when we filmed it because Kitty wouldn’t get out of the video. Ha ha! If I keep things up with this career path, we won’t be able to afford cable so I better keep making videos. Ha ha!

    Sara says:

Is Kitty the most spoiled of your other pets? He seems to always be with you. I think I saw that you have another cat and maybe a dog? Just curious.

      STUFT Mama says:

Sara- Kitty was my baby before Andrew and before the boys. Thigns have changed A LOT since. Andrew is not a fan and the boys aren’t always the nicest to him, but he’ll always have a special spot in my heart. We have another cat, Nala, and a dog, Turk, along with a parrot, Pat, and tortoises, hundreds of birds, etc. 🙂 Want to come over? He he!

      • Sara says:

Sounds like my first cat and my husband! Ha (She died two years ago though. But she was my baby and she went everywhere in the house with me, like it seems Kitty does with you!) We have two large dogs and three cats so I would LOVE to come over! (We had a fish but he died.) My in-laws have two Quaker parrots and a Yellow Naped Amazon! They had another Quaker parrot and a green conure but the conure died and the other Quaker parrot went to live with another family with children who just love him! (He didn’t like the other birds.) They had love birds and a canary in the past too. Whew! See? I’d love to come play!!

How sweet of your ladies to get you flowers! I was the lucky recipient of V-day flowers from an unexpected source too. 🙂

Looooove the flat pr cracker idea! I can’t believe I’ve never made crackers. That’s whack. (apologies for a bad Whitney joke.)

Whenever I start pulling out the stuff to bake I always hear “I bake too!” from Lincoln. I usually set him up with his own bowl of flour and water and let him “bake”, which really means make a mess. I love my little helper though but sometimes I prefer to bake without an extra set of hands, if you know what I mean 🙂

      STUFT Mama says:

Oh.. good idea to give Lincoln his own seperate bowl. I should really try that next time. 🙂 And yes, I TOTALLY know what you mean about the extra set of hands. 🙂

Yum! I love your videos… i was laughing out loud at Joaquin, he’s got the same personality as my daughter… I can’t imagine trying something like this with her, she’d be spraying the oil and downing the cheese, too!! 🙂

    Amy Zirkle says:

Hi Kristin – your kids are adorable – and really funny too!!!! Thanks for the videos – I think I will try these out for an afternoon snack when I get home from work (thankfully I’m in the office only 9 am to 2 pm – so I can get back to pick up my 11 year old from school :)). Hope you have a fabulous day – and really – you should so do a TT video on how to get “rockin arms” — cheers! Amy 🙂
