Good morning! Happy Flat Kitty Friday!
I’m not sure about you, but I just can’t figure out where the heck the week went. Really? is it the end of February? Flat Kitty had to help me change this awesome calendar yesterday to February (it was still on January). I don’t know why I can’t get things together.
I think Flat Kitty may be causing some trouble because I’m getting less and less pictures emailed each week. That’s okay though. I get it. Who has time to take pictures of this silly cut-out and email this weird lady?
Maybe I should take a hint.
Not yet though.
Flat Kitty found a few new friends this week.
He met Toby Brown over at Carolyn’s house way across the country in Michigan.
He also found some really amazing friends over at my friend Danielle’s house.
How cool are her cats? Obviously Danielle and I were fast friends. She happens to be the Chief Marketing Officer at FitFluential where I’m so honored to be an ambassador. She also happens to be one of the funniest people I know.
I’m going to try to convince her to go into business with me breeding hairless cats. Ha ha!
Flat Kitty got to help Sarena make some vanilla pumpkin protein oats
and get cozy with her fully haired cat.
Sarena’s blog is The Non-Dairy Queen. We’re already great friends, but I may be bugging her more than usual in the next few weeks.
Around here, Flat Kitty not only helped me changed my calendar to the right month, he also wanted to play some games.
His favorite is this “Where’s Flat Kitty” thing (similar to “Where’s Waldo”) where he hides and we try to find him. Silly, I know, but I try to keep this guy happy.
He started it way back when with one of our Costco trips. You can check it out here.
The game yesterday actually didn’t happen by choice.
While I was trying to get the boys to pose with Flat Kitty in their cool new shirts, Joaquin had other ideas. He wanted to see if Flat Kitty could land on his feet if dropped from the balcony. (Aren’t cats supposed to do that?)
And Joaquin didn’t seem to care.
We went down below for our “Where’s Flat Kitty” game.
I thought the game might last awhile.
I was wrong.
It got cut short when a slide remark was made about the boys’ cool shirts.
And then, well, Flat Kitty really took a beating.
Now I’ll leave you with some news you can use.
Flat Kitty helped me dust off my Go Dairy Free book yesterday.
I’m going to start doing this with the family and writing it down in a journal. It will be a good thing to get the boys involved in.
Okay, now that I have
10 5 minutes to look halfway decent and get out the door to go teach PE for a few hours, I better go.
And…… things may be a little quiet around here this weekend. Someone wants to keep playing his silly game.
I know, I’m embarrassed.
I really have my work cut out for me.
Have a great weekend!
