The Blame Game

The Blame Game

Hmm…… I have really big plans for posts that I want to do this week, but last night and this morning I just can’t seem to get it together.

Mondays are crazy. Yesterday consisted of a crib poop explosion, a car barfing incident, teaching a Strollerjam class, teaching a spin class at a different club, about 30 minutes to shove some lunch in my face, teaching 4 classes back to back at the Y at night, baths, story time, cuddle time, and then, well…. it was a blur.

Not only are Mondays physically exhausting, but while I’m running around like a chicken with my head cut-off, my email inbox seems to explode and the social media world goes nuts. Ugh.

I pretty much can’t get my act together to post much of anything.

Hmmm…. what can I blame it on?

The fact that I finally sat down for dinner at 9:45pm last night with my huge plate of healthy chicken nachos (minus the cheese of course).

Or the fact that I pretty much propped my eyes open with toothpicks while trying to get caught up with this show. (I’m still a week behind.)

Or the time I spent taping this video and posting it to my YouTube channel while in my pajamas for Tuesday Trainer with the cool trick my feet can do.

Or my three ingredient fudge variation made with unsweetened applesauce instead of half of a banana.

It wasn’t too bad. Definitely not as good or sweet as the original version, but it will do if you don’t have any ripe bananas (or if you’re too lazy to mash a half of one up).

I thought a little mocha would motivate me this morning, but trying to add my favorite cocoa powder before microwaving wasn’t the best idea.

And finally, I really tried to blame Kitty, but he refused to take one for the team.

My ACE Fitness Group Exercise Instructor certification needs to be renewed today, my official resignation letter needs to be mailed into the school district (I’m a little sick to my stomach about that), and oh man do I need to “clean my plate” as my wise friend Mama Pea wrote about last week.

I also need to clean Kitty’s neck and bottom lip. That is not a very flattering photo.

Have a good one!

Any ideas for Flat Kitty theme this week?

*sigh* I’m not the only one then? yesterday’s “normal morning nurse duty” to my dad’s house turned into taking him to the ER (again) and staying at the hospital all day, leaving alone as he had to stay… so I was also eating my dinner about 4 hours later than I normally do, too exhausted to even look at the projects and work I was supposed to have done yesterday.

also, one of these days I will get you my flat kitty photos – um, if this week’s theme could include a karaoke microphone, I could do it this week 😉

I say for Flat Kitty theme we determine if March is coming in like a Lamb or Lion? Like pictures of Kitty in the weather on March 1? I’m not the only one whose family uses that saying, right? Probably a dumb idea but it’s all I got after my horrible morning today…

i agree wih the weather around the 1st of March, wherever flat kitties are living..great theme..!!

Also about all old Kitty’s (aka:Toby Brown) personal cleaning issues.. My three little old kities are the dogs favorite things to keep clean.. Kitties love having their ears taken car of.. eyes, heads go thru the dog lick wash. Sounds gross but works like a charm.. no eye buggars to deal with.. so, new puppies for everyone! (disclaimer.. cat cleaning may just be a cavalier trait.. )

Great theme idea Kinley!!! 🙂 The weather….. You’re so smart. I’ve never heard that saying though. What does it mean? Oh, and sorry you had a horrible morning. Hope your afternoon is treating you better!

      • I remember people around here always saying that is March comes in like a Lion (really nasty weather) it will go out like a lamb (really good weather) or vise versa. I have no idea where that saying came from though but I wonder if it’s a midwest thing?? Who knows!?

What a strange week this is for so many people. Is it a full moon or something? Yesterday was a complete blur, but today I’m getting stuff organized and am feeling better. Tomorrow will be a completely different story though. Hold on tight, it’s only the beginning of the week!

I think the part that sounds the hardest about being a mom is you never get a break – and it sounds like you could use a little break to relax. 🙂 Hang in there girl!!
