Take Five- BOSU Challenge

 

Good morning! Today, TODAY is the day I’m getting taxes done. We’re I’m powering through. I work well under pressure (for the most part). My meeting with our CPA is tomorrow. I can do this. I can do this.

And you….. YOU can do this fun five minute BOSU workout. He he!

Sometimes we’re pressed for time and we only have about five or ten minutes. Well, this little workout here will get your heart rate up and blast some calories in a short amount of time.

I’ve done all the work for you. I’m timing the moves in the video. Plus there’s even a little toddler entertainment and a bit of a camera issue.

Beware I’m wearing those darn weenis pants again. I must have not done laundry for awhile.

Here you go friends! Try it out and let me know what you think. I wish you could really come workout with me in my backyard. (Actually, some of you local friends might be doing just that pretty soon.)Wouldn’t that be awesome?

Note- This workout can be done on the ground without a BOSU also. I just like the BOSU because it adds a little more difficulty and focus on core.

 

I don’t want to leave you hanging without any food pictures so here’s a look at my new daily morning mocha.

Very similar to the STUFT Salted Caramel Mocha, but made with this new syrup I found at Smart and Final.

I did NOT know Smart and Final carried these syrups. The selection isn’t that great, but the price is.

Happy Tuesday! After I teach my classes today I’ll be locked up in my messy office frantically getting taxes done. Oh goodness.

    I love that workout! Will definitely have to do it. As long as I don’t have to get up on the flat side of a Bosu I’m OK. I had a fun little accident a few weeks ago ouch. But this looks totally cool. Thanks!

    We have a few more things to add to our taxes and then we’ll be able to send it on. We never wait until the last minute but life happened.

    I want a Bosu!!! Can I just do them elevated on a chair where possible?

    1 minute of burpees. *shudder* I’d rather do taxes. 🙂

    Good luck with your taxes- I plan on doing mine tonight while I watch Bob kick some butt on BL. 🙂 all while eating a stuft proteincookie topped my almond milk/banana icecream!

    Mmm…Torani! Do you know I ordered a Bacon flavored one the other day (and yes, it’s vegan – wierd!). 🙂 I see bacony bloody mary’s in my future!

    OK had to come back and let you know that I did one round of the BOSU workout and it was awesome. I’m very new to the bosu and after my most recent accident on it I was a bit nervous but I did the modified jacks and it was great. I had done other stuff before it so I only got through one set but it was great, thanks for inspiring me today.

    I love that you keep all your videos “raw.” It shows everyone that you can still workout at home even when you have 2 toddlers running around. The little interruptions up the intensity! 🙂

    The BOSU is fantastic! I’m ready to come workout in your backyard any time. I’ll bring my kiddos and we’ll really have a great workout! 🙂 ha ha!

    C’mon – call me!! I want to work out in your backyard -I’ll even bring a BOSU – and talk nutrition!!! Good luck with your taxes – I’d say call me to help with those, but I am more of a “spending without thinking” kinda gal… (fortunately I don’t have much time for unnecessary shopping) My hubbie gets to deal with the taxes;)

    Ahh the bosu ball, I really need one of those here at home. Have to add that to my home gym wants list:). Though I did just get a new treadmill so I probably can’t complain to much to my husband about what else I “need”:). That workout sounds like a perfect mid day pick me up. Will definetely give it a try later.

    Loved your Nuun application. I hope you get picked! Have you ever been to Seaside or Mt. Hood? Both are gorgeous!! Good luck on those taxes. I’m really glad my husband does ours:).
