Hello.
Happy Memorial Day Weekend!
(Hey, if you click here it takes you to our Memorial Day last year. It’s so weird to see such an old post.)
Here’s some eats from Thursday (if you care).
Turkey salad for lunch with avocado and a Serrano chili.
I flavored it up with these instead of a typical dressing:
Scotty B’s Bacon Jalapeño sauce, Salt Farm Ghost Pepper Sea Salt and Trader Joe’s Everyday Seasoning.
Snack was pumpkin protein dough with SunButter, PB Crave and blueberries again (today too).
Speaking of PB Crave, if you haven’t entered the PB Crave Giveaway yet, do it now!

And, um, I think I have a few jars of open nut butter to get through.
I also have a few Vitatops to get through (these came yesterday from the sale they had last week).
Want to see my burnt dinner from last night while I’m at it?
Roasted broccoli slaw, roasted zucchini and tofu.
Before
After
It was followed by the exact same dessert as last night that was at the bottom of the PB Crave Giveaway post.

Anyhoo….
I chose to get on the treadmill this morning for a 6 miler before teaching PE instead of writing a post. I had some very important business items to attend to after work today so I had to get my run in early.
Item 1
There’s my favorite Starbuck’s drink again. Oh, and Flat Kitty. I carry him around in my purse. Don’t you?

Item 2
Ha ha ha! I don’t know how long it had been since I got to read an US Weekly. It was freaking awesome.
Nothing else too exciting to report except that I killed this disgusting thing the other night in our kitchen.
What the heck is that thing?
It was like a monster.
Speaking of monsters, these seaweed monsters have been taking over our house. They can’t get enough of this stuff.
They wanted me to show off their skills with a video.
Here it is for your viewing pleasure.
Enjoy (and be impressed). They not only can down seaweed snacks like nobody’s business, but they show off some yoga move at the end too.
Have a good one!

I buy the Annie Chun seaweed snacks from Sprouts, and my coworkers are fans of the ones at TJs. They (especially the wasabi flavor) are SO GOOD.
Stephanie- The Trader Joe’s wasabi ones are my ultimate favorite.
I haven’t tried the Annie Chun ones yet.
The seaweed monsters are soooooo cute!!! Way better than cookie monsters!! ha I love it.
Also- I can not believe how much red pepper flakes you put on your food… you must go through a spice jar a day!
And I wonder why I have stomach issues. Ha ha.
I love your sons. Can I have them please????
I used to get a subscription of US Weekly. Man I miss that magazine =)
PS. Have you heard the rumors about Bethanny and hubby? I don’t believe them.
Me either. Rumors shmumors.
The tofu and zucchini look awesome! And if I saw that bug in my house, I’d probably give it the house until the fiancé came home haha. I’m a wiener.
Jaren- I had no choice. I’m pretty sure it was coming after me and everyone else was asleep.
Ha ha.
i used to subscribe to ok magazine just for the awesome crossword puzzle (that’s my story and i’m sticking to it!)
i love those seaweed snacks but i hate the seaweed crumbles that drop everywhere!
Mmmmm hmmmm… the crossword puzzle.
Never had seaweed but, I bought my SunButter today…can’t wait to try it tomorrow morning!
(I have been eating horribly this week….since I can’t exercise with this groin pull I guess my mind thinks I need to exercise my mouth more…UGH…that’s the vicious cycle of my life!)
OH man, I think everyone goes through the same cycle Kathy. Hang in there.
Hope you like the SunButter!
There was a monster in my house too! Last night there was a huge beetle in my toilet!! It had to have come up through the pipe. It looked like it was from Africa. That spider thing is extra crazy too. SoCal has weird bugs. I wonder why kids love those seaweed snacks so much, it must be the texture or something. They think it’s a fun food-toy
Beetles can swim?
what is that terrifying thing on your floor? a spider? i dont even know..looks scary though haha. we had a hornet in the house the other day…just sitting on the floor hangin out-very much alive. i killed him..sad ending…but seriously, a hornet?? that is not ok in the house. btw, im super jealous of ur nut butter collection right now.
I do NOT know what that was. It may have been a stinking scorpion. Ewwwww…… Don’t be jealous of the collection. It haunts me because I want them all all the time. Ha ha.
I’m glad I’m not the only person who has 5+ open jars of nut butter sitting around
Any less than 5 is nonsense.
I got my hair did today too!!
That is truly impressive that your kids eat seaweed. They rock!
Your hair is ALWAYS cute!!!!
Love it! I love the yoga poses. They have convinced me to try seaweed!
I don’t know where they learned that yoga pose. I don’t even do that one (or yoga for that matter).
Ha ha.
I’m so jealous of your peanut butter collection! I saw some white chocolate wonderful at my local health food store today. I should have picked it up!
You’ve got to get it next time. It’s one of my favorites!!!!!
That bug is terrifying! I would have put a jar over it and had my hubby kill it when he got up! lol.. I am jealous of your PB collection.
I have been wanting to try out the chocolate dreams pb… do you like it??
Yes, love the chocolate dreams peanut butter, not as much as the white chocolate one though and not as much as all these other PB Crave flavors.
Good idea with the jar. I should’ve done that. Ha ha.
Your nut butter collection looks like mine! I have so many open right now. I love their seaweed monsters, adorable! And I love how they love seaweed, I definitely did not as a child haha. Their yoga is rockin’ I think they’re getting better
Ick, I found a huge spider in my place last night! Not fun! I hate bugs so much
Oh I know, deciding what nut butter to eat each day is a big decision around here. Ha. And boo on stupid bugs.
OMG that bug is hideous! Have you figured out what it is yet? I would have been scouring the internet LOL
I didn’t even think to get on the internet to find out. Ha. I think it was a scorpion though. Sooooo gross.
