It’s been a long time since I’ve done a Flat Kitty Friday post. It’s also been a very long time since I’ve updated the Flat Kitty page. That’s just one of a bazillion things on my to do list today. Ha ha.
Without further due, let’s kick these Flat Kitty Friday posts off again shall we?
Unfortunately, I couldn’t really get my act together (what’s new) and there wasn’t anything too exciting for Flat Kitty around here yesterday.
He “helped” with a little laundry.
Got Kitty’s tush in his face.
Went to go mail out his clones.
Picked up a very special package from our favorite running shoe company Mizuno.
Stopped at Major Market to get mama a ginormous turkey sandwich for lunch and STUFT Daddy an Italian sub for dinner.
Found some sweet potato PopChips to avoid a major meltdown in the middle of the store and then asked the bakery for some free samples.
Tip of the day- The bakery at grocery stores usually always has some goodies lying around in the back that they will give you for free if you ask. Put on your nicest smile and say, “You don’t have any free samples or anything do you?”
They always do.
Last night this guy bothered me while I tried to get some computer work done. He begged for some of my low calorie ice cream.
I was tired and had just gotten home from the gym though so the ice cream, the frozen frosting, the low calorie peanut butter frosting and the two Vitatops (one triple chocolate chunk, one banana nut) were all mine.
I’m so selfish.
Oh and he also distracted me enough to buy this cool travel potty.
Yeah, we’re heading in that direction friends. Not for Flat Kitty, for the boys. That’s just silly.
Okay, now on to his other adventures…….
He was nice enough to peel himself away from working to check out Sarena’s garden with her for a bit.
Peppers and squash. My kind of garden. Oh yeah, that’s right. Sarena and I are food twins. Have I mentioned she’s one of the coolest people I know?
This lucky flat cat got to go shopping at his favorite Lululemon store with my friend Jenny from Simply Be Me up in Vancouver. Rumor has it that he made her go to three different stores until he found the right scarf to go with his eyes.
Poor Jenny. She’s pregnant with baby number two and this darn cat was dragging her around shopping. He even made her go find some habanero sea salt because he knew I’d want to see a picture of it.
I need to get some of that stuff.
Kathy posted this picture on my Facebook page and pretty much made my day. Flat Kitty made an appearance at breakfast at her house. Hmm… breakfast must be before coffee over there. Ha ha.
Susan got a little help getting ready to really take Flat Kitty for an adventure. He gets to go to Tampa with her and a whole group of middle schoolers. How cool is that? Here’s the guys he’s planning on tagging along with.
He even helped her pack her bag complete with a resistance band (they’re perfect for travel).
I can’t wait to see what he gets to do in Florida.
At Lisa’s this guy had the nerve to try to steal some of her Starbucks.
What can I say? He’s got good taste in coffee and cute ladies like this Lisa Lately chica.
He must have won him over with his sense of humor. Really people, if you’re ever having a Debbie Downer of a day, tweet this guy (@pavementrunner) and he’ll turn your frown upside down.
All the way over in New Hampshire with Angela of Happy Fit Mama and her cute family, he made friends with Cooper and got a little ride in a stroller.
Sam from The Quilting Doberman had quite the busy schedule with Flat Kitty.
He got to sew.
Make some Dog Treats.
Scope out some fabric for his Christmas sweater for this year.
He got to bake. He loves his pumpkin protein cookie dough.
He also got to hike.
Lucky cat. He played his cards right and even made it to obedience school.
Well, that seems like the perfect picture to end on doesn’t it?
Or wait. Maybe this one.
Ha ha ha.
(And I wonder why I get some weird looks.)
Thanks to all of you who sent me pictures. You made me laugh (and stay up way too late writing this). Ha ha!
Have a great Friday!
