Goo Redemption and a STUFT in the Kitchen Video

I thought it was only appropriate to redeem myself from not only the title of that last post, but from the “turd roll” (thanks Phaedra for that).

So I made that same Chocolate Pumpkin Protein Goo, but used 1/2 Cookies and Cream protein powder and put it in a bowl.

So much cuter, yes?

This had 1/2 serving GNC chocolate soy protein powder, 1/2 serving Cookies and Cream Spirutein protein powder and a scoop of chia.

I got a questions about grams and measuring. The experiment I did just now was one tablespoon was 12 grams. So a couple of tablespoons of protein should work. I say just scoop it in, I only put grams on here because I use my kitchen scale to save having to do dishes. Ha ha.

Oh…. then I topped the goo with some low calorie peanut butter frosting made with PB2.

Yep. Good stuff.

You know what else is good? Flatout cinnamon crisps I had on the side.

That reminds me, I have a less than mediocre video of the boys and I making these that I haven’t put on here yet. Here it is for your viewing pleasure this fine holiday weekend.

If nothing else, it’s pretty darn entertaining.

And if you haven’t made these yet, you’ve got to try them.

Want to come hang out with us in the kitchen?

Oh shoot, adding all those comments during the video took way longer than I had planned. Now I’ve got to rush off to get ready for church and dinner.

These posts keep getting shorter and shorter.

You’re welcome?

I’ll be back soon with some goal chat, photo dumps, and some news you can use that I learned today.

Is it really September????

What???

How’s your weekend so far?

What a super cute video. I loved it. And how have I never found the sugar/chocolate/coffee grinder?! I may have to suck it up (our Trader Joe is pretty cutthroat on the weekend). Thanks! You guys are so much fun to watch. 🙂

I also can’t believe it’s September so I’m pretending it’s August for a little while longer.

I cannot WAIT to try the pumpkin protein. I am currently addicted to the ice cream. I like almond more than coconut. Started w/coconut nad then coconut almond but now like plain almond most. YUM!!

Hi there Kristin….LOOONG time for me since I commented last – but still keeping up with you and your gang. I love those crisps and I have you to thank! On a running related note, this gal here ran during her week on vacation in Duck, North Carolina – Outer Banks are just a great place and yes, I even ran on the beach! Who would have thunk it – my niece said I must have run easy 3-5 miles some days and told me I could tackle that 5K on my bucket list – :). I can’t get over how big your kids are getting just from when I started reading your blog…..so cute still but 🙁 they are getting bigger (I have a high school freshman this year, and every kid seems to be growing up too fast in my eyes). Keep those recipes coming – love reading your blog – always! be well – Amy
