Well hello. Happy Friday. I can’t believe tomorrow I’ll be on my way to San Francisco for the Nike Women’s Marathon with YurBuds and FitFluential. What? Why yes, it does make me feel like I want to barf a little bit.
I’m unprepared, haven’t trained, haven’t been getting enough rest, haven’t even checked out the course or the weather and haven’t even started packing. What is have been doing is eating way too much bread, sweet spaghetti squash, ice cream dream protein frosting and all kinds of nut butter. Awesome.
Anyhoo……
Let’s talk working out.
They boys and I made another GNC workout video for you. This one is a bit shorter as it only has 3 moves, but we go through twice. Lucky you. It’s a version of one of the recent workouts I did with Bob and although it’s only three moves, it will get your heart rate up in a hurry and focus on some good core conditioning.
I didn’t have time to go through and add all the commentary as usual, but the boys are just as entertaining, if not more so with their antics. Not to brag, but they’ve got some pretty darn good moves at a young age.
It must be the new green drink I’ve been making them.
Yes, I’ve been making them special green juice (we call it Batman’s juice because they want to be strong like Batman) with this Whole Foods Blend from GNC.
There are so many amazing things in this blend including two servings of fruits and vegetables, fiber and even a little protein. I’ve been adding a scoop to a little water and apple juice and blending it up with spinach and sometimes an apple.
It makes me feel better on those days when the boys haven’t gotten that many vegetables in during their meals. We just blend up our special Batman juice to take care of the situation.
Then we’re ready to move.
Oh, wait, you’re ready to move too? Awesome.
Come join us for the Triple Threat GNC Core Workout won’t you?
It will help me feel better about this weekend if you do this workout, I’m not kidding, it really will. You want me to feel better right? If I’m running 26.2 miles Sunday, you can do this 6 minute workout and enjoy some toddler entertainment.
I’m wearing just a few of my favorites in the video:
Reebok Women’s Play Dry Short Sleeve Top
Okay, so I guess to be fair, if you’re doing something for me, I better do a little something for you.
Remember this?
This is a healthy protein version of the coconut cookie dough crumble that can top just about anything. It’s amazing.
This is something you have to try too. Gosh, my nerves make me bossy, don’t they?
Here you go.
Protein Cookie Dough Crumble
1/2 serving (around 17g or 2 tablespoons) GNC 100% Pro Performance Whey Protein
2 tablespoons (14g) coconut flour
5 drops vanilla liquid stevia (or other sweetener)
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
1-2 tablespoons milk of choice
Just mix all ingredients together until you form the crumble. Start with just a tablespoon of milk and add until you get the consistency you’d like.
You can put it on top of just about anything.
Or you can roll it up and eat it like a little protein dough cookie.
Here are just a few ideas:
Try it on top of some pumpkin protein cookie dough with some nut butter in a Flatout cinnamon crisp bowl.
Try it on a roasted sweet potato with some low calorie peanut butter frosting.
Try it on the ultimate pear breakfast salad.
Or you can have it on top of almond coconut ice cream. (It would actually be better on my new creamy dreamy ice cream, but I don’t have a picture of that.)
I’ve even experimented and made it with the GNC chocolate and vanilla egg protein powder.
The consistency isn’t the same, but it still works.
Okay friends, I’ve got a lot to do today. Holy smokes.
See you later. If not tonight, then see you in San Fran.
Woot!
FitFluential LLC compensated me for this campaign. All opinions are my own.

What does the baking powder do to the recipe?
i absolutely love these videos with the boys – I watch you, yes, but mostly just watch them walk around! makes me smile!!
Your videos are awesome, the boys add so much to it! And kudo’s to you for getting them on veggies at such a young age. Good luck in San Fran, I’m sure you’ll rock it!
Good luck getting ready! I know it’s crazy getting ready to go anywhere!
I just love you and your boys! I watched this twice because you all are so fun!
Oh, your boys are too much. I love these videos because they are so real. That’s exactly what my life looks like too. 🙂
I have a friend that lives in SF and he was complaining that his neighborhood is going to be so congested from the marathon. I think you’re running right by his front door. All I had to say was “My friend is running that!” 🙂 Good luck! May the spaghetti squash be with you, in a good way 😉 xo
I think I saw your friend. LOL. Just kidding.
