No Tricks, Just GNC Protein Treats

Hey hey. Happy Halloween friends!

Unfortunately, I don’t have any costume pictures yet. I do have a little outfit for Kitty, but he was not cooperating earlier so that might just have to wait. He better get his act together though because I didn’t spend $5 at Target to have his outfit just sit around. Ha.

I may just have to get another afternoon post up again. Hmm….

Until I get to that though, check out last year’s Halloween post. It should definitely make you smile.

Workout:

The second workout for the day was a backyard boot camp class and a quick 3 mile run on the treadmill here at home while watching Friends before I made dinner. Um, yeah, the characters are like 28 in that show. Seriously? I’m stinking old.

Anyhoo.

This happened here just now.

The rest of the family is sleeping so I had my creamy dreamy ice cream in a Flatout cinnamon crisp bowl.

Not by itself though. There were some “layers” under there.

layer one- dark chocolate frosting

layer two- chocolate protein frosting (made with GNC Pro Performance® 100% Egg Protein – Chocolate Supreme)

(I froze the first two layers for a bit so they were more like frozen frosting.)

layer three- PB2/coconut cookie dough crumble

layer four- the creamy dreamy ice cream

It was marvelous.

The other day I revisited the STUFT Protein cookie to try to make a dent in my huge jug of whey protein powder.

I’ll get to that protein cookie in a bit, but I’ve been meaning to talk about the vitamins and supplements I take on a daily basis lately and keep forgetting. Now is as good a time as any.

Forget Halloween candy, let’s talk vitamins.

Every morning I take my Women’s Wellness Vitapak. I made sure to take these little packs on my recent trips with me too just to keep things consistent on a daily basis. If it’s in my purse I’ll remember to take it (even if it’s in the middle of a presentation).

At night I take these three supplements.

IMG_5534

GNC TriFlex Sport and Triple Strength Fish Oil Sport and GNC Ultra 25 Probiotic Complex plus Immune. These are all new additions to my routine as of a month or so ago, but I’m loving how I feel on them so I’m planning on keeping at it long term.

What vitamins/supplements do you all take?

Moving on.

So, yes, that no bake protein cookie has resurfaced with better protein powder courtesy of GNC. I made it the other day and it made me remember just how great it is. In fact, I’m going to whip one together as soon as I post this so I can have it tomorrow morning before we head out to the gym.

Ready for it?

It’s just that easy.

I used the Special K Protein Plus cereal in my cookie. I usually like to use brown rice cereal, but this is what I had open and it was pretty darn delicious.

Um, yeah, you need to make this now.

Feel free to Indulge in your scrumptious GNC STUFT No Bake Protein Cookie while those around you get sick on Halloween candy.

This is way better.

Okay, time to hit the sack. I’ve got to teach an early morning spin class. Dang it, I wonder if I should be dressing up in costume for that? I don’t think it’s going to happen.

Oh, you have until 11 pm PST to enter the Reebok Get After It Tee Giveaway. Go here to enter.

See you soon. If things turn out the way I want them to, my next post will have Kitty and the boys dressed up. We shall see.

I can’t wait to see Kitty in a costume. I’ve tried putting my dog in one but he falls to the ground and won’t move an inch.

    Happy Halloween!

I miss protein powder, my protein tart (much like a cookie!), protein ice cream… this is the WORST in the last week before competition. 3 more days… *sigh*

Happy Halloween! My old spin studio had a crazy halloween ride where everyone dressed up. That just sounds dangerous to me. A few days before I did a non-costume halloween ride with just fun halloween music and it was a BLAST. Anything new in there ya know? God I miss spin.

Happy Halloween! Yum to the cookie, looks delicious as always! I’m pretty excited to see kitty and the boys all dressed up. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be doing so this year as the weather is too icky for me to even think of facing.

How can I get some of that creativity in the kitchen?! Well done–cookie makes a nice sub for me during the holidays. My biggest weakness is cookies!

I can’t imagine trying to put a costume on my cats. Trust me, I would if I could, but they’re not big into accessorizing. So frumpy. haha

Happy Halloween! I’m definitely making that cookie! I love GNC, too, and take chromium and also their multivitamins with the extra joint stuff for my old lady bones! Do you think my Wheybolic will be ok in that cookie? That’s the protein powder my hubby and i share- I’ll try it anyway, I’m sure it will be fine! Can’t wait to see your little monsters!
    HUGS!
