2012-12-22 15.26.17

Sunday- Ran 7 treadmill miles while watching the first half of this movie.

I’m planning on getting to the second half at some point today. Fingers crossed things work out that way.

I’ll make this quick because if you’re like me, you’re scrambling at the last minute to get everything done. By the way, Target two days before Christmas- not fun.

Trying to tape cool kitchen videos with this awesome camera set up- also not fun.

2012-12-23 11.36.42

Eating roasted kabocha squash with PB2, chia and creamy dreamy ice cream- totally fun.

2012-12-23 14.00.55

Wearing a Snuggie while eating it- also very fun.

If you’re one of those people that has everything done and is already getting to relax and spend quality family time, I am extremely jealous. Please tell me your secrets.

Smile

In the interest of time and feeling generous, I’m not even going to make you suffer through any pictures of roasted broccoli slaw or burnt veggies. A little present from me to you.

I am going to announce the winner of the Halo Hat giveaway though.

The winner chosen by random.org is

Elizabeth #71

Email me your mailing information and I’ll get that cool hat over to you ASAP!

This Christmas I am most looking forward to spending time with my family. I am one of 7 children. Every other year, we all come home to Massachusetts. On the off years, we each go to our spouses’ families. Many years ago it did not seem to matter to me as much as it does now when we all get together. Everybody is getting a little older (yikes!) and we are lucky enough to still have our parents around. Each of my siblings has a spouse and children and to see our family grow as each year passes is truly joyous. Merry Christmas to you Kristin!

A wonderful give-away! I enjoyed spending time with my children and husband. We played games, had tea parties, Skyped 3 times with distant extended family, slowly opened a pile of gifts, and basked in the joy of Christmas and all it’s blessedness!

What I most looked forward to this holiday–pretty much the same every year!–is having some “down” time with the family and maybe a “date-night” with my husband. Also, I was hoping for a little light snow (no ice) for the kids to play in. Thanks, Kristin!

I have loved my husband not having to work and we all get to hang out. Watching my kids reactions as they opened their presents was pretty awesome too. Thanks for the awesome giveaway. Hope you had a great Christmas!!

What I look forward to most about Christmas is the time and traditions spent with my family. We make breakfast together, put together a puzzle while watching Christmas movies, graze on yummy food all day, then play board games until the late hours of the night. It’s more precious to me than all the presents in the world.
