Valentine’s Snapshots

Valentine’s Snapshots

Thursday workouts:

AM- 6 mile run on the treadmill at the gym

PM- Taught a Y50X class and a strength training class

Note- I’m teaching a Y50X class this Sunday at the Lululemon store in the Carlsbad Forum if any locals are looking for something to do. He he.

Valentine’s Eve I was in bed at 8:54 pm with my Designer Whey protein bar for dessert. It made getting up at 5:30 when it was still dark out to get some work done a little more tolerable, so did this Starbucks espresso.

On mornings when our schedule permits, I aim to get to the gym so that I can be on the treadmill by 9 so I can watch Live With Kelly and Michael. I have yet to actually make it there in time to see the beginning of the show. Someday.

We got there about 9:20 yesterday. Not too shabby.

We got a little distracted on the way in.

I got a little distracted on the way out as I thought my shirt was quite fitting for Valentine’s Day and wanted to show you.

We dropped off some Valentine’s.

We had a little picnic.

(Don’t they look excited.)

We taught a PE class, made a quick stop at the store and checked our mailbox.

Heck yeah, “Mother of the Year” again taking my boys inside the mailbox place in the grocery cart. You don’t even want to know how the boys usually behave in that place. I keep waiting for the nice people to lock the door when they see us coming. Ha.

We got STUFT Daddy his Valentine’s presents: an Italian sub and a Starbucks.

Well, we all got Starbucks actually. It was a buy one get on free thing.

By default, I discovered that a new Coffee with Dark Chocolate Chobani Bite cup was fabulous frozen on top of the new chocolate microwave muffin.

The yogurt just happen to freeze in our other fridge and it was awesome. It was also awesome topped with a little NuttZo and because I was eating it in the bowl that I had just used to eat an entire roasted kabocha squash.

I then ate an entire bag of microwave popcorn on the way to the gym.

I am an eating machine.

The gym was a little quiet. I did still have quite a few people show up for class though, but I guess some some of them had hot dates or something.

On the way home I got to stop at Lululemon to pick out a top for the class I’m teaching Sunday. That was fun.

Although it was hard to decide on just one top.

I did not get that one on the right, but now I kind of wish I did. Um, how cool are those shorts though?

I may or may not have gotten sucked into a little stop at Sur la Table on my way back to my car.

I’m not really a cook, but dang that store is dangerous. So many cool things. I had to get out of there fast before I did any serious damage in my tired, hungry state. I did get a couple cute things on sale.

Dinner at 10:20 pm was salmon, cucumbers, soy wasabi dressing, roasted kale salad (sprayed with Bragg’s Aminos), chicken, srirachi, and some hot mustard mixed with nutritional yeast.

I finished off a tube of wasabi with that bowl. I don’t think my nose will be the same for awhile.

Dang, I forgot to get a good Valentine’s picture of Kitty. I’ll have to make up for it over the weekend. Ha ha.

There’s still time to enter the NuttZo giveaway!

How was your Valentine’s Day?

Did you eat any candy? What’s your favorite?

Mine- Reese’s hearts. The big ones. They’re so peanut buttery inside. Mmmmm…….

I have yet to step foot in a Lulu store, but I plan to soon. A little afraid of their prices, but I know the quality is worth it.

Sounds like you had one heck of a Valentines Day with the loves of your life! Um, I do see that bowl of kabocha you had during the picnic. While I’m sad we live so far away from each other, I think you and I would be fighting over the amount of kabocha each of us could purchase if we lived in the same area. 😉

I hope you have an incredible weekend!
