Workout:
Taught boot camp at the park.
Played outside with the family.
Ran 3 quick miles on the treadmill at home.
I got up super early today thinking that I was going to go teach boot camp and then drive up to meet Sarah to take one of Bri’s Barre classes. Well, for some reason I thought I lived closer than I did. Thank goodness I figured that out before I was in the car on the way up there. I would’ve been about 40 minutes late. That would have not been good at all (but so something I would do).
Before I realized that, I got all dressed up in some new gear I received from Reebok.
How cute, right?
Before I talk clothes though, Reebok’s new campaign is LIVE WITH FIRE. I love the whole message behind it. This short video gives me chills. Life doesn’t care what we look like or judge us, it just wants us to join it. Just awesome.
These clothes are part of the Reebok ONE apparel line.
Here’s what I got:
PWR Wide Strap Long Bra Top in Solid Teal:
This slim fitting top features wide straps for superior support making it ideal for high-performance exercise and PlayDry technology that moves moisture and aids in ventilation.
A bootcut pant that features 4-way stretch fabric for greater freedom of motion and a performance ready slim silhouette with PlayDry technology.
RealFlex Scream 2.0 in Tin Grey/Party Purple/Solar Green:
With independent multi-directional flex nodes on the sole that provide protective flexibility throughout your run, the lightweight RealFlex Scream 2.0 is natural motion, perfected.
First off I love that pretty much all their clothes have the Play Dry technology. I’m a huge fan and that technology is no joke.
I wasn’t surprised at all at the comfort level of the tank and pants. They felt great.
I also already love their Real Flex Fusion TR shoes for cross training and for teaching my classes inside. They are definitely great for the gym and for HIIT classes and weight training.
I wore the new outfit to teach boot camp this morning and try to impress my friends.
Not sure if I impressed them, by hopefully they got a good workout. I made sure their legs were “on fire”. He he.
So since plans changed, I came home with breakfast for the family- a breakfast sandwich for Daddy and French toast for the boys.
I made myself a quick savory breakfast STUFTwich so I could join them.
Then we “lived with fire” as a family for a bit. The best way to do it on a Saturday.
We played a little Red Light, Green Light.
(One of these days they’ll get the hang of it.)
We had a few races to test out these new Real Flex Scream shoes and get mentally ready for our race tomorrow.
They won today. More than once actually. I can’t help it, I get easily distracted.
Ooo… flowers that match my shoes.
I sat on the side for this one. It looked a little too dangerous for me. That might be more like “playing with fire” rather than “living with fire”.
So, it’s been a good Saturday so far. My mottos today are “live with fire” and “no wasted time”.
I’ve been having a hard time lately because I get overwhelmed with all the things I need to do and then I can’t figure out where to start. I get myself all stressed out and anxious and then end up not being very productive.
Not today.
Today, I’m tackling one thing at a time.
With the help of a very strong iced mocha (with sugar free almond syrup and Silk almond milk).
One of these days I’ll get there, but for now, it’s one thing at a time.
Have a great night!
We’re resting up for a little race in the morning and a “Sweaty Sunday” workout at Lululemon.
Do you ever get overwhelmed with “to do” lists over the weekend?
What’s your favorite family activity or game?
*I was compensated by FitFluential LLC for this post. All opinions are my own.

Who doesn’t love “airplane rides”?
That top looks great on you 🙂
I totally get overwhelmed on the weekends! I think I work harder then & have to catch up on my rest during the work week. Just having that extra time makes me try to fit it all in I guess 🙂 I had not seen that Reebok video but it rocks! I watched it twice. And I kinda teared up a little. And I want to show it to all the women in my classes who think they don’t know “the moves” thank you for making my day!
Isn’t that video awesome? I think I need to watch it every day. 🙂
Love the teal color of the Reebok tank! Perfect Xtend Barre color & tank :-). We’ll meet up sometime soon for a class! BTW, there’s a new XB studio opening in Oceanside next month. I might come down there for a class too. I have a couple of fabulous instructor friends who teach there as well.
Ha. Yes, we WILL meet up for class and I will have to try to dress to impress. 🙂 Let me know if you come down to Oceanside. That’s a little bit closer to me. 🙂 I better do some stretches.
i think you need to burn your to do list and just come visit me! 😉
That would be a dream come true!
Cute clothes & your kiddos are even more adorable.
Love the “live with fire” message!
Thanks Amy! Hope you get to “live with fire” this week! 🙂
Love the new shoes & clothes!
Hooray for just taking one thing at a time and playing in the backyard!!
Thanks Kim. yes, hooray for putting family time first. I have to do that more often. Hope you had a great weekend!!
I can totally get overwhelmed with weekend “to do lists”, but I try to not let it consume or ruin my weekend. It’s more important to rest, enjoy, and have fun sometimes on our weekends, instead of stressing about what we are supposed to do. I know. Easier said then done. 🙂
I always think of you on the weekend and your gorgeous pictures of you by the beach. You seem so relaxed. 🙂 Maybe I just need to come visit you. He he.
