My Therapy Session, Reebok ONE and I’m on a Quest

My Therapy Session, Reebok ONE and I’m on a Quest

This morning I ran 7 miles on the treadmill at the gym.

8:00 minute mile pace.

Nothing exciting. Watched The View.

So yeah, I had a much needed retail therapy session last night. I had plans on visiting a couple sites to use some credit and gift cards that I have, but I got stuck on just one. I did some serious damage on it though. I also made sure to Pin all my purchases.

Here’s why I spent so much time on just the one site.

Reebok has just launched a new website called ReebokONE.

It’s free to join and an awesome new program for fitness professionals.

Some of the benefits of joining are:

– Get a vanity URL and professional fitness profile

– Discover educational content; read about industry trends; build your expertise

– Receive 25% off Reebok products

– Earn 10% commission on Reebok products you promote/sell

– Communicate/interact with other instructors, and with clients

I got my personal page all set up on there.

Obviously I had to put a picture of my best friend Bob, although I’m not too certain about our current relationship. I’ll have to fill you in later.

Anyway, I took full advantage of the 25% off discount that comes with the membership last night. Pretty cool discount.

You can register for the program here.

Feel free to pass the information along and/or put my name in the ‘how did you hear about us’ section. No pressure though, I just think it’s a really cool new thing they’re launching and don’t want anyone feeling left out of the loop. Plus, when there’s a discount involved I feel like I always have to share. Ha ha.

In other news, I made a pretty impressive savory breakfast STUFTwich this morning and it was even better with the addition of some Swiss chard.

It was awesome, but not the best idea to scarf down just minutes before hitting the treadmill. Oops.

And friends, I need to tell you that I’m on a quest. A serious quest to try every single Quest Bar out there.

I was recently sent a sample pack of bars from Quest Nutrition.

I had been hearing so many things about how great their bars were so naturally I had to see what all the hype was about. I mean look at everything they do NOT have in them.

Oh my goodness.

Do you see all these?

So many flavors to choose from.

Yes, I’m in heaven.

My personal favorite so far is the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.

Check out the nutritional stats on this bad boy.

Less than 200 calories, 17 grams of fiber and 21 grams of protein.

Um, yeah. Amazing.

Some people told me to microwave it for a bit and I tried it like that too. It was like a warm soft baked cookie. Pretty much just like it says.

The other flavor bars have similar nutritional info, but it varies a little depending on the particular bar. Also, they have an all natural line sweetened with Stevia and Erythritol and an original line sweetened with sucralose. I haven’t noticed a big difference in taste or texture between the two lines. I’ve loved every one I’ve tried.

They’re a little chewy, but I like it that way.

Other flavors that have passed the STUFT test so far-  the other day it was the banana nut muffin

and today it was strawberry cheesecake.

I’m not going to lie, I can’t wait to dive into the rest and am already trying to figure out what flavors I’m going to order. You better believe I’m going to hoard these bars.

Who needs sweet roasted kabocha squash when you have these? Ha ha.

Okay, I gotta head out to teach a few classes tonight at the gym.

Is it Friday yet?

*Disclaimer- I was sent the sample pack of bars for review. All opinions and my newly found obsession are my own. I was not compensated for this post.

I also had credit to spend on the Reebok website as part of a FitFluential campaign.

It’s basically the same, I think there was one new workout w/ Maddie, otherwise all the old ones (with you too). It has a little different layout added to the old layout & you can print a log/checklist kinda thing. I really should cancel, I never do those workouts anymore…..I like yours!! You can NEVER get in touch w/ any customer service!!!???
I’m turning 40 in 94 days (not that I’m counting) I really want to have your arms by then….ya right! LOL
        Ok, your turn! hee hee

LOVE Quest bars. The stats and ingredients, for the amount of protein and fiber is outstanding. 🙂

Im looking for something to eat while i’m running my first half marathon on 4/6. do you think taking a Quest bar with me would work? Those gels and shot bloks have so much sugar im afraid of stomach issues. should i take one on one of my training runs?

      STUFT Mama says:

I wouldn’t recommend taking these on your training runs. You don’t really want that much fiber and you want carbs that are easy to digest/process. Don’t worry about the sugar on long runs- your body needs it.

Hmmm… would that much fiber be good pre-run??

Quest bars are everywhere! They aren’t dairy-free though. I tend to steer clear from dairy too. Have you had any trouble with them? They look sooo yummy I might risk it
