Spring Cheers and Blood Sweat & Cheers

Hopefully I’ll be “cheering” the fact that I can jog a few slow miles on the treadmill today, but if that doesn’t work out for me, well, that’s okay too. We shall see what happens.

When things aren’t going as planned I like to focus on the positive. Yesterday I kept telling myself that if this little (well, hopefully little) injury is the biggest thing I’m dealing with at the moment then I have things pretty darn good. I’m very fortunate.

So, here are some great things I’m cheering about this Monday. I’m a little late jumping on the spring train, but I’m declaring today the official start of the STUFT spring.

Let’s cheers, yes?

Love watching my men play outside. This was my view from the kitchen window this past weekend.

Doesn’t that just make you smile?

I tried to make myself feel better last night with a few spring sprinkles on my creamy dreamy ice cream while I was icing my crotch and working some late night “office hours”.

This morning I got all my spring scented wallflowers, hand soaps and candles out. I have those issues where everything has to be seasonal.

I found this candle that is probably about 6 years old, but smells delicious. I don’t even know where the heck I got it.

I even whipped out my spring mug and a new flavor of Torani sugar free syrup for my mocha.

And extra cheers for Silk PureAlmond Unsweetened Vanilla being on sale at Vons for $2.79.

What a steal.

And since I haven’t talked about my huge jugs for awhile (my egg white jugs– get your mind out of the gutter), I thought I’d cheers to those too! Can’t tell you how much I love them.

And cheers to yet another fun Quest Bar and Chobani creation as a mid morning snack.

Nonfat Chobani mixed with a little sugar free maple syrup and PB2 topped with a peanut butter supreme Quest Bar and strawberries.

Oh, and my new favorite Nectresse sweetener I discovered.

I don’t know, something about it is just magnificent.

And lastly, I’m cheering for a cool website called Blood, Sweat & Cheers.

Blood, Sweat & Cheers is the fun-loving newsletter packed with off-the-wall activities,
events, workouts and gear that make everyday life more fun.

Some fun things I found on the website last night were this Spring Workout Mix with some songs I might have to incorporate into my spin playlist and a list of the Best Easter Events

Pretty fun.

Those quest bars look great..I just need to figure out where to buy them. Lately I’ve really been enjoying the GNU bars, particularly the espresso chip. If you haven’ t tried it I think you would like it. High fiber, low sugar.

Oh, Kristin, I really hope you’re feeling better! I hate that you’ve been kind of out of commission. You have to focus on the positive! It really does help get you through. I’m cheering for Tony today! The man got 2nd place in his age group on our race on Saturday! He got a trophy too! He is pumped!

      STUFT Mama says:

Xanthan gum is more important from what I’ve read. try it and see. 🙂 Or if you add a little protein powder I’ve found it does kind of the same thing with making it creamier. 🙂 Let me know!

That website looks like a blast! Thanks for sharing!!

Aww, I just got caught up on your past posts…sorry to hear about your um…”unmentionable area” 😉 Hope the icing and rest is helping! It’s definitely no fun being sidelined with an injury! I haven’t been able to do ANYTHING in the form of exercise in over two weeks now since I had to have knee surgery, but I’ve started showing IMMENSE progress in physical therapy over the last few days…hooray for only needing one crutch now!

That website sounds awesome, but sheesh, I don’t know how you can stand to look at it…whenever I CAN’T workout is when I start to get bitter about the people who can…like the runners I see on the side of the road as I’m going to physical therapy! Lol

Is it bad that I’d rather win SECOND place in the giveaway? Ahh, LULU!!! 😉

Where do you get all your fun sugar free Torani flavors?? I never see anything but vanilla and hazelnut.

Take care and get well soon! I applaud your positive attitude. I’m not sure I’d be that upbeat. You’re awesome!

I’m so behind on posts from traveling!! So sorry to hear about your injury! Take it easy on yourself. You don’t want to push it and get hurt worse. Praying for you!
