All Kinds of Gifting With FRS

Hey friends!

I’m taking a little break from talking workouts, food concoctions and all our usual STUFT shenanigans to tell you about something really cool. Not that we have any crazy things that went on this weekend

or food creations

to talk about.

(I’ll share that amazing thing in my next post. Oh man alive.)

This is a darn big week coming up with lots of giveaways (another Reebok one even), chances to win other prizes, a huge sweepstakes and even ways to “gift” things to friends. There’s pretty much something new every day. We all may just be in over our head (in a good way though).

Smile

So, here’s a big announcement about a sweepstakes that starts tomorrow.

It’s all about FRS Healthy Energy and two big prizes followed by lots of free gifts.

Not sure if you’ve ever heard of FRS before, but I got my hands on some samples. I got the natural energy sample kit that you’ll be able to “gift” to someone (or have someone “gift” to you) later this week. All the details are below.

First though let’s check out the goods shall we?

I was sent samples of FRS Healthy Energy products. Here’s a little background on the products.

FRS was originally developed by health scientists to provide sustained energy for chemotherapy patients. Today it is used by elite athletes, wellness experts and anyone who wants to lead a healthy, active lifestyle.

All FRS products feature quercetin, a powerful all-natural antioxidant found naturally in many fruits and vegetables. It has been shown in multiple clinical trials to provide sustained energy, increased endurance, immune system support along with many other health benefits.

FRS products are now championed by some of the world’s most elite athletes such as NFL star Tim Tebow, Captain of the US Women’s National Soccer Team Christie Rampone and over 20 professional sports teams.

Here’s what I got:

Healthy Energy Soft Chews

IMG_8274

Chews that are good for you and give you a little energy? Um, okay. For all you fellow label readers out there, here are the nutritional stats.

IMG_8311

I’m totally intrigued by the quercetin. I’ve never heard of it before, but they explain all about how it works and the benefits of it here on the website. It sure provides a heck of a lot of antioxidants though and is supposed to enhance athletic performance.

IMG_8309

I wish it would heal my hamstrings and hip. How cool would that be? Ha.

I tried a pomegranate blueberry chew.

IMG_8275IMG_8276

It tasted darn good.

The directions say to take two in the morning and two in the afternoon and for athletes to take them 30 minutes before exercising. I had one and got on the elliptical shortly afterwards.

When I’m back to really running and training hard, I’ll have to put these to the real test.

I also received some Healthy Energy Shot samples.

They come in regular

IMG_8277

and low calorie.

IMG_8279

Here’s the supplement facts on these low calorie shots.

IMG_8289

They have 35 milligrams of caffeine (not that I love caffeine or anything), green tea catechins and other vitamins.

IMG_8287

Isn’t it cute?

IMG_8283

Since it says you can either take it as a shot or add water

IMG_8284

I did both.

I had a little taste of the Peach Mango shot.

IMG_8290

It was good. It would’ve been better cold. It smelled a bit like vitamins when I opened it, but you couldn’t really taste them much.

I decided to mix the rest with ice water and make a cute drink out of it.

IMG_8294

It was like a fancy peach mango energy cocktail. It tasted great and was perfect for a busy mama on a Sunday afternoon (or any afternoon actually).

I even added a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to give it a little kick.

IMG_8300

When STUFT Daddy got home I decided he had to try the regular orange flavor. I made him a little energy cocktail too.

IMG_8303

He liked it. He asked me briefly what was in it, but we were both pressed for time so I basically told him it was good for him, I’d explain later and to drink up.

IMG_8306

He did.

Okay, enough about us. Let’s talk YOU now and how YOU can win some of this FRS goodness.

Beginning at 12pm EST tomorrow (Monday, April 22nd, 2013) on the STUFT Mama Facebook Fan Page, you will have the opportunity to WIN one of two Healthy Energy Prize Packs.

Sweepstakes Prize Pack

Monday, April 22nd, 2013 at 12pm EST, an FRS sweepstakes tab will appear on my Facebook page. To enter, all you have to do is answer “What is your summer training goal?”. Two entries will be selected to win a Healthy Energy Prize Pack valued at $1,475.40 ($122.95 per month).

Holy smokes, right?

Here’s the link directly to the sweepstakes tab:

And….

That’s not all.

Later this week, FRS will be partnering with DropGifts to give the chance to 5,000 lucky STUFT readers to give a friend the gift of natural, sustained energy without the crash.

Natural Energy Sample Kit

This will be hosted on the FRS Healthy Performance Facebook Fan Page. Starting Monday, April 22nd you will notice a Facebook tab called ”Gift FRS” on their page.

The gifting will not start until 8pm EST on Thursday, April 25th, but you will have the chance to remind your friends to gift you by ”wishing for” the gift before the event starts. This will remind your friends to “gift” you. Let’s face it, sometimes our friends need a little reminder right? Ha ha.

When registration opens (8pm EST on Thursday, April 25th) a ”Gift Now” button will appear on the FRS Facebook Tab and the first 5,000 users to connect application will have the chance to gift a friend. 5,000 free gifts. Pretty cool.

I’ll share the direct links when that actually happens, but for now you can enter the sweepstakes starting tomorrow. Oh man I want two of you to win a year supply so bad!

Smile

Okay, gotta run. Wait, I mean walk, and get ready for church. See you soon!

Hope you had a great weekend!

Have you ever won anything before?

Has anyone ever won a year’s supply of something? I really wouldn’t mind a year’s supply of kabocha squash. Ha ha.

My husband swears by this stuff but he only takes the FRS orange in the am it’s like this cup of coffee (he hates coffee). when he doesn’t have it he feels a difference in his running and his overall being. I on the other hand can’t handle the smell, it does smell like vitamins. It’s been awhile since I’ve tried it, might try it again might need to plug my nose though, I just can’t handle the smell of vitamins. We had the chews but he didn’t like them so much.

Is the coconut oil you have pictured the brand they sell at Costco? I’ve been buying mine from TJ’s but I go through it really quickly. The one they sell at my Costco runs about $0.13 cheaper per ounce but I wasn’t sure about the quality. Would love to hear your opinion on this if you buy your oil at Costco.
