Another Challenge- Max the Morning

Why not just throw another challenge in the mix, right? If you haven’t noticed, I’m a little competitive and can never turn down a challenge. I know I can’t be the only one.

So I got this cute little package in the mail last week.

Someone must have gotten the memo I need a little help in the whole moisturizing department. Ha.

Vaseline has a new Vaseline® Spray & Go® Moisturizer. It’s a continuous spray lotion that moisturizes (and absorbs) in seconds.

I’m lazy. I try to put lotion on every day, but sometimes it just takes too long (or my lotion is so old it’s turned very runny and I’m too cheap to buy a new one).

The whole “fast to apply, quick to absorb” thing behind this new Vaseline lotion had me.

I was sent the challenge kit complete with a full bottle of the new Spray & Go Moisturizer.

So, yesterday I thought I’d take on the “Max the Morning” challenge with this new lotion.

It was simple enough for me to handle.

So, after I made sure my tummy was good and bloated from squash, I went out and put this little gift card to good use (like the invite told me to).

I know the whole challenge is about getting ready in the morning and making it easier and faster, but sometimes you just have to get your shower on at night, right? That’s what I do a lot.

I had to “Max the Evening” so I could have dessert and get some work done during my office hours.

I got all set up after dinner (I had Whole 30 friendly Chinese stir fry with the addition of some Trader Joe’s orange chicken and fried rice for my men).

This girl makes it look super easy and has a pretty darn impressive time to try to beat.

“Max the Morning Challenge”

I should’ve watched her technique first before I did my own challenge.

Instead I just followed the directions on the card.

I didn’t hold it as closely as I should’ve, but it did spray really well, was easy to rub in and absorbed pretty darn quickly. I even sprayed a little too much around my neck area (during the whole switch hands part), but it still absorbed well.

I didn’t really bring my A game and didn’t try too hard to beat the above girl.

That was the total time of the spraying of the lotion, rubbing it in and getting into my pajamas. It really only took about 30 seconds for the lotion part, but I tried to be all fancy and do a split time to show you and not only did it slow me down, but I deleted it somehow. Nice.

You’re supposed to put on skinny jeans or something similar that usually isn’t too easy to put on after moisturizer (especially in the summer, right?). I don’t wear skinny jeans to bed (or ever actually), but I do wear my Spanx sometimes. He he.

Last night though I went with my new $10 Old Navy shorts I got with that gift card. They look a little something like this.

I love them already.

I also love this lotion already. It doesn’t smell much like anything, it moisturizes without being too slimy and really makes the process fast and easy.

I’m going to try it out again today (and see if I can beat that girl’s time).

Last night it was just fast enough though to sit by my lonesome for a bit and enjoy this little night snack.

Oh man, those dark chocolate NuttZo 21-Day Sugar Detox approved cups are delightful straight from the freezer, although they don’t photograph well then that way.

Oh wait, after they sit out for awhile they do.

Mmmm hmm…..

Recipe will be in my next post. Promise. I just need to make a few more first.

I need this stuff, really bad! I’m horrible about remembering or taking the time to put lotion on in the morning and I get such dry skin!

I like those shorts! Old Navy is really not nearby for me, but does seem like it has some inexpensive stuff. Maybe after finals…

I lotion up after every shower- no matter what. I love another brand- willing to check out Vaseline’s though. They were one of the first lotions I ever owned! It would be awesome if they added some SPF! :-)

What a creative campaign that Vaseline put together! Your dessert looks amazing. I need to try that one.
