Red, White and Blue- Darn Computer, Mizuno Winner and a New Halo Giveaway for You

Red, White and Blue- Darn Computer, Mizuno Winner and a New Halo Giveaway for You

Good morning! Happy 4th of July. I’m a a little behind in life and in the bloggy world. If you follow me on instagram, you already know we took a much needed “unplugged” family night the other night.

IMG_4487.JPG (2)

It was glorious. Exhausting of course, as anything with toddler twins is, but so much fun.

I enjoyed my first glass of wine in 30 days.

I savored every darn sip.

You know what else I had for the very first time yesterday day? This paleo burrito.

IMG_4577IMG_4579.JPG (2)

How awesome is that? A jicama wrap? Brilliant. It was delicious and now I can’t wait to try to recreate it on my own. I’ve thought about making healthy nachos with my roasted jicama chips, but this opens up a whole new world of experimenting.

Have you ever had anything wrapped in jicama?

After putting all work on hold for a bit, when I finally got a chance to play catch up yesterday I stared at this lovely picture/screen for a few hours.

IMG_4586.JPG (2)

Yep. My laptop has officially bit the dust.

Luckily I had everything backed up. Oh wait, that’s not right. I never back anything up. I knew this day was going to happen sooner or later. Obviously it happened right when I had some really important things due that I couldn’t access.

But, hey, I’ve been thinking I need to slow down a bit and was trying to figure out how. Now I guess I have the answer. Ha ha.

I also have a little more time this long holiday weekend to really be in the moment with family. Heck, maybe I can even organize my office for once with a little extra time.

the winner of a brand new pair of Mizuno Wave Sayonara Shoes that will be officially released tomorrow is:

Congratulations Courtney! I just sent you an email.

So, friends, from our STUFT family to yours-

Have a wonderful 4th of July.

IMG_4585.JPG (2)

And, well, I don’t want to leave you hanging and on a holiday and all, so I have a new giveaway for you.

Morning! And such sweet photos. I am glad you got a family night. I actually had no idea jicama could be made into a wrap. That sounds really good actually. I don’t even eat meat and I could tell that wrap was good. Sometimes the most basic ingredients just make it better.

Have a great long weekend. 🙂
