And, good morning.
Ran 3 miles on the treadmill during the boys swim lessons. Kept it slow until I had to meet the boys at the pool so picked it up just a bit the last 1/2 mile.
Just a reminder- never go by the calories the machine says you burn if you’re trying to keep track. They always overestimate.
Taught a HIIT class and a strength training class later at the Y.
(Yes, I am wearing the same pants as yesterday afternoon. Please don’t judge.)
I got to get up and run.
Slow, a little uncomfortable, but not too bad. My form was all off, but it was glorious.
A big injury update and what not is on the works and thank goodness it’s a lot better than the last one. But I’m so excited to be teaming up with Runner’s World and the Runner’s World Challenge program as I get back into training and racing. I’ve got a training plan all set up with them, but it will need some modifying as I ease back into the whole running thing.
What they offer with the Runner’s World Challenge is pretty darn cool. You get a full 16-week marathon plan or 10-week half marathon plan for any race you happen to be training for, a ton of other perks (book, t-shirt, online access to support groups, etc.) and help and advice from their top coaches.
You really can’t beat it price wise for what you get and who doesn’t want help from the amazing Bart Yasso and the Runner’s World coaches, right?
Who wants to join with me? We can give each other moral support and chat about all the insider stuff, yes?
You may have seen this on instagram already, but…..
OH MY MIZUNO.
I can’t tell you how much I LOVE Mizuno. Their shoes, their running clothes, the entire company, what the brand stands for…. the list goes on and on.
I got an amazing delivery from them. Details to come on all the goods, but it was definitely Christmas in July yesterday.
Complete with driving the boxes. All toddlers do that at Christmas, right?
And, huge news, my favorite Pro Compression socks are having one heck of a fabulous sale. Check it out!

Such a great deal and even on the new neon sleeves and gear that just came out.
Yep. It’s Christmas in July for you too. He he.
Changed up the sauce this time though. We have a family agreement that this is the best marinara sauce we’ve had.
So do these mushrooms I found at Trader Joe’s.
So do Tutu’s Garlic Green Beans (my picture of them did not turn out well).
So do super spicy chicken pizzas.
I ate dinner way too late last night, but it was still mighty delicious.
A variation of the jicama nachos with roasted carrots and baked halibut.
I used this seasoning and this new Toluca Gourmet Salsa that was awesome.
I’ve been begging for a new car (specifically a minivan for awhile. STUFT Daddy says no way, but I think I’ve put quite a few mile on our good old highlander.
I love the number 111 for some reason so this was really exciting when I saw it today. Too bad a new minivan didn’t magically appear. Ha.
I make wished every time I see 11:11 too. Anyone else?
This guy has really been keeping up on our toes lately. Terrible threes perhaps?
I have an overwhelming fear of the car wash. Just the ones you have to drive through. I’m always afraid I’m going to get stuck in there or something. Good thing my boys don’t have the same fear.
They did wonder how it was possible to clean the car with bubble gum though.
Okay, so lastly.
I’ve got a little Friday fashion giveaway.
along with this long crew with thumb holes.
Sorry about the picture, I was a little pressed for time (as usual).
Oh hey. Thumb holes are my favorite though!
A little about Albion Fit.
ALBION’S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE WOMEN WITH THE MOST LUXURIOUS, FLATTERING, AND HASSLE-FREE FITNESS AND LEISURE APPAREL ON THE MARKET.
Some better pictures and note on the clothes.
Super comfortable. Fit well. Not too heavy, not too light.
I did teach my classes in them last night and they may have not been the best choice for HIIT classes.
I think they’re more for casual workout wear like yoga or heck, they’re cute enough they can even be a around the town outfit.
The Go Long crew shirt.
Love the long length. Lightweight. Comfy. Thumb holes. Wide neck. Didn’t wear it too long since it was a bit toasty, but it’s a good one summer nights to throw over a tank top or something.
So, what’s in it for you?
Let me tell you.
If you order anything from the Albion Fit website, you can use the code stuftmama15. It’s good for $15 off a purchase of $50 or more through the 20th of this month.
There’s a giveaway though too for the Go Long Crew.
Here you go.
