Oh hey! Happy Thursday!
Taught a spin class.
Ran 4 miles on the fancy gym treadmill at about an 8:20 pace afterwards. Planned on fitting in 5 miles and speeding up for the last mile, but my run was interrupted by a certain someone who had to “go” and couldn’t do it by himself. Isn’t that nice.
So, sometimes STUFT Daddy and I like to call ourselves ninjas. We also use the term “ninja” as a code word when we like to sneak out of particular situations.
Let me explain.
When we’re at a social gathering (which actually doesn’t happen that often these days) and we realize it’s time to leave, but it’s going to take way too long to properly say goodbye and thank you to everyone, we pull what we like to call a “ninja” exit. We quietly just sneak out and figure no one will really notice that we’re gone. Yeah, we’re classy like that. Ha ha.
Yesterday was our anniversary. Nine years since we got married. So crazy. And poor Andrew had no idea what kind of a mess he was marrying back then.
We went into ninja mode yesterday afternoon and snuck out for a quick little getaway (if you follow on instagram you’ve already seen some of our fun).
Our little getaway is really quick though, as in less than 24 hours quick and we’ll be back to reality in just a bit.
I did manage to do a little “ninja” action of my own and snuck out this morning for a quick little run. We made a deal that I could go for a quick run if I was fast and brought back Starbucks. He he.
And, whelp, attempting to write a better blog post right now isn’t going too well since I can’t access any pictures at the moment, but hey, it’s probably for the best since Andrew isn’t a big fan of social media and we’re about done with our coffees. Beavis.
Will be back later today!
Ever pulled a “ninja” move?
Do your runs ever conveniently end at Starbucks too?
