Yes, yes they did.
I made a quick pit stop on the way home Thursday night.
Lululemon is a very dangerous place.
Well, I has to go there because that Lululemon tank top with the huge hole needed to be exchanged. Thank goodness they took it back. It was a special edition one or something, so I got two for the price of one.
These are the ones I picked out (if you care).
I actually ended up paying about $20 dollars, but I’m pretty excited about my purchases.
And, helpful hint- I always replace the bra pads that come in their tanks with Handful bra pads. I pretty much do that with any top. Have to do the “flatter, not flatten” thing you know.
Obviously since Thursday morning was so calm and quiet, this morning when I planned on being out the door around 6:00 am to get my last long run in, things did not go as planned.
I burnt my plantain egg-rito.
I know, right? No one wants to see that.
Then the cupboard shelf fell down.
Hmm….. maybe it was one too many huge coffee mugs.
Or maybe it was this silly plastic thing that’s supposed to hold up a shelf. Really?
I was not alone this morning either. I had company at 5:45 am.
Managed to make it out the door for my run just as the sun was coming up. About an hour later than I had planned.
For some reason I thought it was going to be easy today. It wasn’t. It was tough. I just wasn’t feeling it and it was a struggle to get through.
Funny how some days it feels so great to run and others it’s just darn hard. How cool would it be if running was easy all the time? I wonder if it is for anyone. It can’t be, right?
I was really glad when it was over. Like really, really glad.
At least I ran in style.
Then I got a little help with my foam rolling
and Joaquin decided it was his turn to “go for a run”.
One thing that motivated me for my run this morning was to get back in time to order these cool socks before they sold out.
How cool are they?
I’m not even a big fan of Halloween, I can’t remember the last time I dressed up, but hey, I need socks for all holidays.
Last I checked they still had a couple sizes available. You can order them here.
I know FitFluential has a 40% code for socks right now and a giveaway that ends tonight.
You can check it out here.
Oh, if I did decide to dress up for Halloween though, this Beaker costume is pretty freaking cool.
Mee mee mee.
Oh and Kitty hasn’t really decided what he’s going to be yet, but we tried on last year’s outfit just for fun.
We had a super fun impromptu family day today, but I’m to tired to write about it.
You’re welcome again.
I’m also counting down until Andrew and I are sitting on the couch eating Mexican food and watching Modern Family. That’s the plan for tonight. You know, it’s date night and all.
Enjoy your weekend!
Here’s a little Runner’s World motivation for you!
Yes, yes it does.
Do you have days when running or working out is just darn hard?
Do you dress up for Halloween? If so, what are you going to be?
What are your Friday night plans?
