Pro Winner, When to Cut it Short and a Scotty B’s GIVEAWAY

Pro Winner, When to Cut it Short and a Scotty B’s GIVEAWAY

Hey all!

Whelp, we’ve got company arriving in approximately 6 hours and while we can now see the floor, I still have my work cut out for me. Laundry, Christmas cards (yep, still), etc. No more baking though. Yippee!!!!

The winner of the Pro Compression Giveaway is:

Congrats! Email me your size and what style socks you want along with your address and I’ll forward it along to my Pro friends!

I’ve been doing my long runs Friday mornings. It wasn’t happening today which was fine because this week I was going to try to give myself a recovery week a bit. I almost feel like my mind needs it more than my body. Does that ever happen to anyone else?

The next few days are going to be about maximizing my time and cutting whatever I can short (except sleep). Today it was my run. A little bit can still make a big difference.

I got out the door for a quick 5 miles. I didn’t even pay attention to the time.

I just needed to move a little and get some fresh air.

Got it.

We had a little Happy Birthday Jesus party at preschool today.

2013-12-20 11.36.20

What a great idea right?

I kind of want to show you the group photo of all the other kids dressed up in their holiday outfits, but I should protect their privacy. Instead I’ll just show you how dapper our guys looked in their holiday attire.

2013-12-20 11.42.21

(Thanks STUFT Daddy for getting them up and ready though this morning. You’re the best!)

I had to whip myself up a little protein egg white scramble today. I’ve been having quite a few treats over here (you know, taste testing all the baking and all) so it was time for a good protein fix this morning.

2013-12-20 10.39.33

Eggs, Trader Joe’s turkey bacon and organic kale in coconut oil topped with Scotty B’s bacon jalapeño hot sauce.

Good stuff.

What? You’ve never heard of bacon jalapeño hot sauce?

I’ve talked about it before here. I was out for awhile, but finally took the plunge last week and ordered a pretty large amount of all my favorites from Scotty B’s hot sauce.

These three are my favorites.

I like the sweet bacon jalapino with breakfasts (like today) and on a STUFT egg-rito.

The ghostly garlic goes well on Italian food and especially a meatza pizza and a salad.
