Um…. Christmas Eve It Is- Time For Some LOVE

Um…. Christmas Eve It Is- Time For Some LOVE

Good morning, good morning, good morning!

I can’t believe it’s Christmas Eve.

We’re all a little under the weather over here. Seems about right. Ha.

We had a successful long weekend with our houseguests. They survived their brave stay here. They even said they’ll be back next year, so I guess we didn’t scare them off too much. He he.

The boys LOVED my cousins.

2013-12-23 09.18.42

The past two mornings have just been quick, easy treadmill runs. Yesterday was 5 miles and this morning was 6. I’m not going to lie, I’ve been dragging and just not feeling it the past few days. I’ll have to get my head back in the game after the holidays.

I did check off another Christmas movie off my list to watch this year though.

2013-12-24 09.02.49

I finally managed to get our Christmas cards out. The won’t arrive until after Christmas, none of them have return labels and I ran out of cards, but oh well. It’s done.

Sunday night went down a little something like this to do the job.

2013-12-22 20.58.53

That’s some mess of a microwave protein muffin with a Double Chocolate Chip Quest Bar melted in there.

Yesterday after my cousins left we had our usual busy day. Batman decided to come along.

2013-12-23 13.11.30

In between the hectic schedule, the boys were begging for a picnic.

After I saw this post on Facebook, I decided that we’d do just that.

So we picnicked.

2013-12-23 14.02.48

I stayed up late wrapping presents last night instead of working. Did the worst wrapping job ever, but hey, that’s done now too. Ha.

Random, but I won a couple of these Justin’s white chocolate peanut butter cups on instagram the other week.

2013-12-23 22.32.44

They’re going to make great stocking stuffers. They are delicious.

Speaking of peanut butter, I’ve been into the whole NuttZo and peanut butter with cinnamon on a Fuji apple lately for snacking. Just can’t go wrong with that combo.

2013-12-23 14.34.57

And some iced tea splashed with a little lemon and apple cider vinegar.

I know I have a couple other giveaways going on and some winners to announce, but the winner’s will have to wait because right now it’s time to be mama and be in the moment.

Not to mention my nails are hideous the boys want to make sure we have new treats to leave out for Santa tonight. Better get on that.

Here’s a little thought from the boys’ devotional we read the other night.

2013-12-22 20.27.57

It led to a pretty great discussion.

here’s a little package of LOVE we’re giving away today from Love Grown Foods.

2013-12-23 14.25.15

One winner will receive a bag of Oat Clusters, a bag of Super Oats and two Hot Oats cups.

Live well. Eat LOVE.

I have never tried the Love Grown Foods, so here’s to hoping I win :). I LOVE opening my stocking Christmas morning…always been my favorite part, and I always tackle it first! My family and I always attend our church’s Christmas Eve service every year…absolute favorite service of the year for me. Something so increadibly peaceful about it, and it always seems to bring a perfect stillness to the night. Then after church we will have our Christmas dinner, that way we can relax and enjoy leftovers on Christmas. We will also watch the Polar Express. And this year, I may or may not have talked the family into matching Christmas pajamas and building a tent to camp on the floor with my little 3-year old niece so that she can enjoy some of my favorite memories from Christmas as a child. Have a Merry and Blessed Christmas!

I’m absolutely obsessed with the super oats and the oat cups! And they’ve been perfect in the middle of my move 🙂

Even being Jewish, I’ve never really done the typical Chinese food and a movie on Christmas, but tomorrow, my husband and I decided to take advantage of our new location and head to Chinatown in San Francisco! I’m so excited 🙂
