Problem Solved and What I’m Hoping the Morning Looks Like


I had a few problems today that came up. Nothing crazy or anything, but found some solutions pretty darn easily.


First off, I wasn’t quite sure what activities I wanted to have my PE class do. Luckily I had some helpers who took their whistle blowing job very seriously.

Then I was down to my last Frieda’s purple sweet potato. Usually wouldn’t be too big of an issue, but with a race this Sunday and all the treadmill miles I have and will be logging for the STUFT 60 Challenge, well, it was an issue that it was my last one.

At least I did it up right complete with NuttZo, Penzeys cinnamon and coconut oil.


I also roasted plantains today. No problems there. Ha ha.


Well, one quick little phone call and a trip to Sprouts and what do you know, problem solved.

I had a late night at the gym teaching classes. Got home and was too tired to change out of my sweaty clothes right away,

but not too tired to whip up a rather large meatza pizza and a few other things for dinner first.

Priorities. Ha.

Finally wore my custom Reebok Nano Speed shoes tonight too.

I was saving them for a special occasion.

I guess tonight was one.

Until I burned my meatza.


Oh well, I was distracted by this Kitty crocodile cuteness.



So yeah, I’m really excited about tomorrow to not have to do a long run and just have time to be home and get things done.

My to do list is endless and so is my inbox. It’s embarrassing.


I’m really hoping I get to sleep in an extra hour tomorrow morning (not a chance), but if that doesn’t happen I’ll settle for a little early morning help from this guy (if only he could return emails)


and a little extra time to just savor the morning.


That would be quite nice.


I’m also hoping for a yummy breakfast egg white scramble (we just got more huge jugs in the house) like this chicken sausage and chard one the other day.


With at least a couple servings of no grain seedy STUFT bread (it’s almost time to make another loaf).

    I have never slept in sweaty gym clothes, but I have spent an entire day in them. I buy squash in bulk. I seriously have a problem 😉 It’s time to step away from the squash! I need to run and lift this morning, and take my 2.5 yr old to his classes and play date. Happy Friday…

    I have never slept in sweaty gym clothes, but I have slept in gym clothes to get up the next day and have spent all day in the same gym clothes.

    Your food always looks so good but some of it I am so scared to try – I think I just need to GO FOR IT!

    I’ve spent the whole day in sweaty gym clothes but haven’t slept in them. Classy, I know. I am working 10 hours today – good times. But I did manage 4 treadmill miles this morning so all is well. Have a GREAT weekend!!

    I’ll do some yoga today. I’m so sore from the BodyPump class yesterday. I think it would be nice to stretch it all out.
    I’ma need to grab some big boxes of sweet potatoes. Love them!
