Burpees and an Early Bedtime

 

Well hello!

Did a little early morning treadmill running yesterday. Slow and easy.

Got a lesson in proper slow motion running form in pirate socks afterwards from a pretty smart coach.

Taught a BOSU class yesterday also.

I do a lot of HIIT moves at the beginning of class. I’m sure everyone loves it. Ha ha. There are always burpees involved. I try to change it up, but I can always find a way to incorporate a version or two of them in.

FitFluential has this big #FFBurpee Challenge.

You can get all the information here. The goal is to complete 1,000 burpees by Februrary 28th. Totally doable, right?

In order to enter, all you have to do is use the hashtag on Instagram or Twitter!

 

So I thought I’d show you how the burpees went down yesterday.

I’m a little slow moving in the video, but sometimes speed doesn’t matter, right? Not to mention I’m a bit of a sweaty mess after class. Enjoy!

And, I don’t have much else for you today. I’ve been eating the same things the past few days so nothing exciting to share.

I’m getting a bit nervous for Friday, so just trying to figure out everything I need to bring with me to the news station.

    Not until midnight…which was not so smart on my part! It was my first evening shift after my vacation and I forgot what it was like to work until 8, and then get things done in the evening!

    I like the incorporation of the BOSU for the burpees.

    I do BOSU burpees with the round side down (hands on the flat side), then when I jump up, I also bring the BOSU overhead. It’s a killer move!

      I usually do them like that too, but tried this as a different version. The ones you’re talking about though are soooo great, aren’t they Michelle? :) Have a good Wednesday! We need to do burpees together some day! He he.

    I was exhausted last night…I was asleep before 9:00 PM and only read 5 pages in my book. I have no favorite way to do burpees…I seriously despise them with a passion. HAHA!

    Love when you rest!!!!! :) I am seeing the burpees everywhere!!!! :) Not doing the challenge. ;) I like doing my own thing plus the balls of my feet don’t like all that.. :)

    I’ve been going to bed so late recently due to not having enough time to get my work done in the day! I am trying to get better at it.
