Erica Sara Designs Gift Card Giveaway

Happy Wednesday friends!

I have an awesome giveaway for you today in case you haven’t done any Mother’s Day shopping yet (like myself).

First though, just a couple of quick things I feel like sharing. I can’t help it.

I took two days off from any kind of running. I forced myself to do it. My legs pretty much hated me after Sunday’s race. There’s a HUGE difference between running longer and slower than running faster and shorter. After two marathons, going out a little fast Sunday was pretty silly. Not saying I probably wouldn’t do it again because it was an awesome race and an awesome family day, but I was definitely feeling it.

Yesterday I did teach my one class though. Favorite move was plank jacks on the BOSU with alternating knees in between the jacks.

2014-05-06 12.56.57

I didn’t even attempt a video though, so this picture was as close as I could get to showing how it’s done.

After two days it felt good to run again. Not as easy as I thought it would be to get out of bed at 5:11 am, but I made it happen. Want to know my main motivation for this morning’s early run?

This movie.

2014-05-07 06.37.57

I really don’t think I’d ever seen Say Anything before. Loved it.

2014-05-07 06.56.24

Got 10.11 easy miles in. I’ve totally missed the treadmill and my quiet early mornings. I’m almost ready to really get back to them.

2014-05-07 06.56.582014-05-07 06.59.33

I cleaned up as quick as possible with some Action Wipes, changed clothes and threw on a new Handful bra and new Halo headband and was ready to tackle the rest of the morning.

After I got the boys ready and off to school, I taught a spin class and then fit in a 3 mile jog to catch up with these ladies.

2014-05-07 10.09.04

Loving Jenny’s hair by the way.

I also braved the gym shower for the first time in over a year.

2014-05-07 10.27.14

I forgot how great it feels to leave the gym clean.

I also forgot to check my shirt before walking out and check my teeth all morning. I got to my car only to discover a little kale from breakfast in my teeth. Lovely.

Got my hair done yesterday. Finally got it cut after close to 6 months or so. You know it’s time when your hair dresser makes a special appointment for you with extra time to fit in a cut. I took the hint. Ha.

Getting your hair done is such a treat sometimes though, isn’t it? I get a little too excited about the magazines there.

2014-05-06 15.09.23

I couldn’t pass up fresh strawberries at the farmer’s market afterwards. Love that it’s strawberry season.

2014-05-06 16.45.12-1

And yes, those taste as good as they look.

I also love that zucchini is in season. Speaking of, we got out the vegetable spiralizer again last night.

2014-05-06 19.33.52

Good times.

2014-05-06 19.34.38

Good zoodles, although I still need a little work on making them.

I do not need work on piling as much as possible on my marinara topped zoodles though. I think I’ve got that one covered.

Ha ha.

Okay, so on to the giveaway.

My friend Erica Sara is an amazing jewelry designer. Many of you have probably already heard of her. In fact, her Generation Charm was just featured in US Weekly.

2014-05-06 15.35.12

Yeah, she’s pretty much famous and for good reason. He he.

I recently got the opportunity to design my own Erica Sara Designs bangle.

IMG_3394

I was on the website for over an hour trying to figure out what charms I wanted for my Bangle Bracelet.

I wanted customized charms and really wanted them to be meaningful so when I wear my bangle I feel inspired. There are so many charms to choose from. You can see them all here. (Now you know why it’s so hard to choose.)

I chose the mini run charm and then had to customize the rest because I’m a high maintenance customer like that.

IMG_3396IMG_3397

Yep, I totally feel special and inspired when I wear it.

IMG_3406

I’m kind of hoping it will help me make good decisions when I have it on. Wouldn’t that be great if a bangle could do that?

Oh and yes, the pictures Erica took of my bangle are much better than mine.

We’ve also got a special little order in the works for some special grandmas around here.

2014-04-17 14.58.17

It’s a good thing my family doesn’t read the blog because the surprise would be ruined. We don’t want them to see our customized Work of Art Charms before they’re finished. That would just be silly.

So……

for YOU.

GIVEAWAY TIME.

One reader will win an Erica Sara Designs $50 Gift Certificate to use online.

gift certificate2

How cool is that?

You can use it for yourself or as a gift for special someone.

Giveaway will be open until Saturday, May 10th at 12:00 am PST. Winner will be announced in Saturday’s post. (Just in case the winner might need the prize as a gift for Mother’s Day. I’ve got your back. He he.)
