Pro Compression Winner, Mizuno Tanks and Another Giveaway- NuttZo To-Go

Happy Friday friends!

Just got off the treadmill and am having my new little recovery drink.

I’ll spare you any treadmill pictures since we’re on a bit of a time crunch this morning. I ran 10 easy miles at an 8:20 or so pace. It was darn difficult to get moving, but I’m so glad it’s done.

I taught my classes at the gym last night. Threw in this little plank variation just for kicks at the end of my HIIT class.

I’m not totally sure what to call it, I always feel like a dog lifting a leg, but the boys like to call it the “Spiderman”.

Start in regular plank,

then carefully lift one knee towards the shoulder and hold.

2014-05-08 19.31.09

Repeat on the other side.

2014-05-08 19.31.29

It’s tough, but a great exercise for the core. I think you should try it.

Smile

So, yeah, I better announce the Pro Compression giveaway winner before I start chatting too much.

Chosen by random.org, the winner is Tessa Bridger.

ANYONE can still use the discount code STUFT on the Pro Compression website for 40% off any product and FREE shipping though. Feel free to order yourself a little something special. He he.

I may have ordered myself two pairs of gray trainer low socks that came in the mail yesterday.

I also got some really fun new Mizuno running tanks.

IMG_3418

I’m digging the new style of these tanks. I wore my white striped singlet for the 2014 Big Sur Marathon and am pretty excited to now have it in black. My favorite part might be the back.

IMG_3415

The Akemi Singlet might be my new favorite.

This Harmony Tank is a brand new one they just came out with also.

I love the color. Not to mention having new running gear always helps motivate me a bit.

Meb motivates me a bit too.

Check out his Runner’s World Quote of the Day.

I was recently asked how I fuel for races and long runs. It’s changed a bit over the past couple of months. For awhile I was eating pretty much all Paleo and would have a ginormous no grain plantain cupcake or a baked purple sweet potato and egg whites. The toppings were always the same though- a little coconut oil, cinnamon and most importantly NuttZo.

I’m back on grains so lately I’ve been having whole grain bread and 1/2 a banana with peanut free NuttZo

I even made myself a little sandwich before the Boston Marathon while we were waiting to go to our starting corrals.

2014-04-21 08.56.10

I even had my little NuttZo To-Go pack for the shuttle ride at the Big Sur Marathon.

2014-04-27 04.14.55

Yep, love those little To-Go packs.

I mean, I love any and all NuttZo. In fact, this one is my favorite, but I actually like the crunchy version a bit better.

2014-03-29 10.38.47

I also love the lady behind the NuttZo, Danielle.

2014-03-29 10.38.02

She is just fabulous.

Anyhoo……. I love these little NuttZo To-Go packs so much I want to give some away to you.

I know what you’re thinking….

another giveaway?

Yes.

What can I say, it’s just a good week friends.

Today is Friday and NuttZo is doing this NuttZo fanatic Friday thing.

image

I better take a good picture later today for instagram.

So, to bring this week to an end, one person will win 30 NuttZo-2-Go packs (a variety pack of all 3 flavors- $38.97 value).

IMG_3419

Now that’s just awesome.

(They also have a couple different items on sale on the website and you can use code “STUFT-15” for an extra 15% off anything.)

All you have to do to enter is leave me a comment here.

Tell me where you would talk your NuttZo To-Go packs or how you would use them and/or something fun you’re doing this weekend.

*Giveaway will be open until Monday, May 12th at 11:59 PST. Winner will be announced Tuesday on the blog. Open to US residents only.

See you tomorrow with a fun little family workout video. Yes, we’re taping another one for you since the one we posted yesterday was two years old. Ha.

Don’t forget you can still enter the Erica Sara Designs $50 gift certificate giveaway also.

Have a fabulous day! Make sure to take time to stop and smell the flowers!
