Oh man do I have some great things for you today.
In fact, I’m so excited about this that I’ll skip the whole morning workout chat for now and get to the important stuff.
Like my new favorite toppings for popcorn.
Coconut oil, molasses, cinnamon and nutmeg. I added some apple cider vinegar on there too, but I think it would have been better without. It would also have been better with some dark chocolate chips in there, but we didn’t have any of those around yesterday.
Let’s talk about leggings now.
Wait, not just yet, socks first.
There are now PC Runner socks available.
That is so stinking cool. I usually wear the low trainers when I want a low sock, but I can’t wait to give these a try. Low is the way to go these days.
Speaking of the way to go these days, let’s move onto the leggings.
Not just any leggings though, the new Pro Compression legging.
I wrote about them before and even made that video with three double BOSU moves sporting them.
Last night I tried to impress my classes at the gym with them. It was a pretty long day and I figured I wasn’t going to impress anyone with my moves, so I might as well impress them with my pants.
I have to say, they were quite impressed with the pants.
Let’s get into a little more detail since today is the official day these leggings are being released and go on sale.
Oh heck yes they kick butt.
Before I go into detail about the fabric and fit, one of my favorite things about them is that you can wear them all different ways.
You can wear them normal just like they are.
Or you can wear them with either the waist folded down and/or the bottoms folded up.
You know, it all depends on your mood or whatever fabulous place you’re going to be wearing them.
They are just so darn cool.
Obviously Pro Compression knows good fabric and if you’ve worn their compression socks you know what I’m talking about. The specific fabric used in the legging is a new high-end four-way stretch performance fabric. It’s comfortable, breathable and moisture wicking.
I’ve put them to the test by wearing them to teach multiple classes, walk around in them, run errands and I even sported them for date night.
The reversible and contrasting waistband is my favorite.
It even has the special hidden pocket for keys, credit card, money, etc.
I’m pretty picky when it comes to how the waist of pants fit and these definitely pass the test. I usually like to hike them up when I’m teaching classes. They almost feel like SPANX and are very form fitting. Without going into too much detail, they do a great job of hiding my post twin belly button.
When I wear them for running errands or for date night, I go with the waist folded down.
I feel a little bit cooler that way. Ha.
These really are the perfect legging for running, walking, yoga, everyday wear, lazy weekend nights, etc. The list goes on and on and basically they’re active tights so you can do anything in them.
Pro Compression worked a ton on the fit so that they’re the most flattering that they can be. The wide waistband doesn’t cut into your torso and the matte fabric is just thick enough so it’s not see-through and gives you great coverage, but is still light and sweat-wicking.
The whole not being see-through thing is key when you’re teaching and squatting with your backside to a class for an hour.
They really feel great on. They are not too heavy and not too light. They’re comfortable and form fitting without being too tight or restricting, not to mention you can definitely tell that the fabric used is high quality.
I’ve washed my pants a few times, but I don’t put them in the dryer. So far they’re holding up well.
Here’s a few more photos of these amazing pants and all the different ways to wear them. I did a little photo shoot for you with the help of no one. Just my camera with its self-timer and a bar stool.
Waist up, cuffs down.
Waist down, cuffs down.
Waist up, cuffs up.
Waist down, cuffs up.
Just in case you need one backside view. Ha.
So many different options. Each option just as comfortable as the next.
I mean, really comfortable.
Jump in them.
Stretch in them.
Wear them for yoga, running, chasing your kids, getting coffee, traveling, you name it.
Oh goodness, I almost forgot, you also need to know that the Pro Compression Legging comes in three color options. All the pants are black, but you can get them with black, pink or neon yellow piping.
