iFit Active GIVEAWAY

 

According to my iFit Active band, I did pretty well with my sleep last night.

Actually, WE did pretty well on our sleep. Our little man is finally just waking up once to use the bathroom and going back to bed. Thank goodness. I think both boys really want bunk beds.

I hopped on the treadmill for a quick easy run to start the day.

Random, but I replaced the light bulbs right above the treadmill yesterday and it felt like there was a spot light on me this morning. I guess it’s good to wake myself up though.

It also motivated me to try to take an action shot.

No, I did not match this morning and rarely do when I’m working out in the comfort of my own home. That’s one of the perks. Ha.

 

I’ve been wearing my iFit Active band for a couple weeks now and am really loving a lot of things about it.

I also have one to give away to you, so I thought I’d tell you a little about it.

Let’s look at this little gem.

It comes with a little pod that keeps track of all your information.

The pod can be put in a wrist band (that’s how I wear mine) or in a clip.

It can keep track of so many things: calories burned, sleep, calories consumed, complete nutritional information and workouts.

It totally makes the whole math of trying to stay on track easy, especially if you’re working on some specific goals.

One thing that is really awesome is that it’s easy to use, easy to set up and pretty much does a lot of things automatically.

All you have to do when you get it is charge it up by connecting it to your computer,

download the iFit Track app and wear it out and about.

You can also set up a free iFit account to plan workouts, keep track of your workouts, plan new ones, connect with friends, etc.

If you’re keeping track of calories it makes it really easy to add foods or calories in so you can keep track of your net calories.

Here’s a picture just as an example. I haven’t added any food in and really only experimented with the whole keeping track of net calories things a couple of days since I’ve been wearing it.

It’s a really great feature and makes it so darn easy to do, but I’m just not a calorie counter these days.

DISCLAIMER- I haven’t used this feature yet today and this picture is just so you can see everything it can show you.

To add specific foods you touch the pear in the middle and you can search for foods or use the barcode.

Just with the band, you can add calories consumed by 50 calorie increments, but it doesn’t keep track of al the other nutritional information for you. When you use the app on your phone, you can actually search for the specific food and/or use the barcode scanner.

It really is all about calories in versus calories out when you’re working towards a particular weight goal and this little tool does it all for you.

Keeping track of daily steps and sleep is awesome too. You customize your own goals as far as how many steps you want to complete, how many hours of sleep you want and how many calories you want to consume and burn each day. It’s very easy to set up with the app on your phone or device. Friends, if I think it’s easy, it’s like really easy. Ha.

    Sleep tracking! Especially since as of late, I’ve noticed I am not consistently sleeping through the night. Also, overall calories burned… it would be nice to have an overall estimate of what I’m burned for the day!

    This has to work better than my watch. It always skips steps. I would love to see how many calories you consume versus your workouts. You can pound down some food, which is amazing and cracks me up, but you also work out for hours and hours and burn a ton of Cals! You’re my hero!     Gosh do I need to track my sleep, activity, and food and caffeine intake. I’ve been averaging 4-5 hours of sleep per night for months, and it’s getting real bad. Really, really bad.
