CocoaVia Winners, the Pumpkin Patch and Living Dangerously

I’m recovering a bit at the moment. Not from working out, but from LA traffic. I do not do well with that. It’s my own fault, you know, the whole racing the clock thing, but really, not fun.

So, really quickly, the CocoaVia capsules giveaway winners are:

#56 Hannah

#11 Michelle Kim

#60 Paige C.

Congratulations ladies! Email me (stuftmama@stuftfitness.com) with your mailing address and I’ll get you your capsules. Woo hoo!

So we made it to the pumpkin patch yesterday. There’s a really cool one not too far away called Bates Nut Farm and I hadn’t been there since I was a kid. We had a blast.

When we were almost done, Judah came running over to me “Mommy, they have kabocha!”

Freaking awesome, right?

I added three kabochas and one spaghetti squash to our load. They’re cheaper at Trader Joe’s, but I couldn’t pass them up.

And yes, we do in fact know how to stock up at the pumpkin patch and take it very seriously.

We also hit up Sonic for the first time ever. There aren’t that many around, so it was kind of a big thing for us.

I got a grilled chicken sandwich and an iced tea.

I decided I want our next freezer to be able to make cool crushed ice like they have there. Wouldn’t that be awesome?

I taught boot camp this morning, then watched the boys’ soccer game. No photos today because this Mom of the Year has already lost one of her son’s soccer shirts. Yep, that’s me. I thought about not telling you, but oh well. I have a week until the next game to try to track it down, and we did have a shirt that was close to the same team color so all was good.

I got to meet Robyn today in Newport Beach.

We’ve been friends on Instagram for awhile, but finally got to meet in person. It’s so fun when that happens and can I just say that usually when it does, people are just even more fabulous in person.

I flew my freak flag high though so I’m not sure I made a good first impression. I was nervous about getting to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Los Angeles 1/2 Marathon expo in time.

I like to live dangerously though and obviously didn’t give myself enough time to deal with traffic. I was very seriously into the whole racing the GPS arrival time thing.

The expo closed at 5:00 pm and I walked in that door 5:03 pm. I could barely breathe once I got there (from anxiety and sprinting from the parking lot), but I got it!

Phew.

Here’s what a closed expo looks like by the way.

You’re welcome.

Now I get to spend time with my best friends again for the night and decide how bad I really want to chafe tomorrow or not.

To Dorothy or not to Dorothy?

Hmmmmm……..

Catch ya tomorrow! Hope you’re having a great weekend!

Big city traffic absolutely stresses me out! I definitely wouldn’t want to be in a hurry in it.

    Have a blast tomorrow! 🙂

I am also not a huge fan of traffic/driving/etc. so I feel your pain! Glad you made it safe and sound and were able to pick up your packet. Good Luck 🙂 If it chafes extremely bad, I wouldn’t wear the costume even though you would look cute 🙂
