My KIND of Package, New LOVE Flakes, How the Last Pint Went Down and How Miles Change You


I fit in six miles this morning before that craziness of the day started.

Loving the Wave Inspire 11 shoes by the way. Yes, the laces are shorter, but I like the fit and the look more than the 10s.

Funny that a six mile run used to be a piece of cake and now it’s just not. Things change so quickly. But I feel like we’re still making progress so that’s good. Slow progress is still slow progress.


I even had a prolotherapy appointment really early today and he said that I had a good report. Much better than the last visit.

I came home today to the most magnificent package of Strong and KIND bars.

I’m a little overwhelmed with all the choices, but I can’t wait to try them. I went for the jalapeño one since I knew it was freaking amazing, but next time I’m trying a new flavor.

We also got one heck of an amazing LOVE DROP from Love Grown Foods that included their brand spanking new product, Mighty Flakes that will be hitting shelves very soon.

I will confess that I was planning on saving them to make them all pretty and stuff for a picture, but the frosted Mighty Flakes mini box is already gone and I can’t blame it on the boys.

It was all me, but man were they good.


While we’re talking food, this happened a few weeks ago, but since I’m out of the new Arctic Zero chunky pint flavors and I’m going to hold off on restocking until after Boston, I might as well show you how the last pint went down. 



The chocolate chip cookie dough is the best flavor (in my opinion of course) and I did it up by making my own cinnamon crisp bowl with Trader Joe’s whole wheat lavash flatbread. Similar to this old recipe, Flatout Cinnamon Crisp Bowl, but I used the lavash.


I have a couple of shares to pass along before I focus on Friday and tuning out for the weekend to get a run in and get taxes done.

I taught spin tonight and the fancy gym.

No great new songs to report added to my list, but the gym does have a big huge grand re-opening going on this weekend if you’re local. It’s such a cool place. The boys and I are planning on being there for the later part of it after the Junior Carlsbad race. We’ll see how well our plan actually goes down. Ha.


Okay. I’m signing out for the weekend.

I’ve got an early morning date with the treadmill and my SATC ladies.

This weekend I really get to do those taxes. Lucky me. I’ve only been talking about it for a month and a half now, but I finally scheduled an appointment with our guy so the pressure is on.
