So far this week has been about nightly dance parties as we catch up the whole Dancing With the Stars happenings. The boys love Bruno. Go figure. We even suckered STUFT Daddy into watching it with us last night for a bit. He tried to make us watch silly basketball instead, but majority ruled and obviously you don’t mess with guys.
Yep. This is what dance party attire looks like. I’m sure you already know, but short, fitted pajama bottoms are a must. And the whole sign thing, well, you know.
Our dance party also involved a little Taco Tuesday pajama action.
It was make your own taco night and I went all out making my own ginormous taco plate.
I’m addicted to those brown rice cakes there that I buy regularly from Vitacost at the moment. In fact I need to order some more before I run out. I’ve also been sprinkling nutritional yeast on a ton of different things.
This morning’s workout was a treadmill run and some exercises with the resistance band before work.
I might be starting to get over the whole Homeland series on Netflix thing. I love it, but it’s a little too intense for 5:00 am. I might need some more light romantic comedy action instead.
I’ll take suggestions if you have some.
Okay, moving on to chat about yogurt.
Not just yogurt actually, this dairy-free yogurt alternative from Silk that’s even better.
The boys love yogurt. They eat it pretty much every single day. I don’t have it that often because I don’t eat a lot of dairy products, but I always see the cool creations everyone always makes with yogurt and wish it didn’t upset my tummy. They always make them look so good, don’t they?
Well, I recently discovered that Silk has this new dairy-free yogurt alternative made with soy. I found it at my local Vons and they had it in strawberry and blueberry. I picked up a strawberry one to give it a try.
Here are a couple of key things about this new Silk Dairy-Free Yogurt Alternative.
Silk Dairy-Free Yogurt Alternative - 6 grams of plant-powered protein per serving - 6 smooth, creamy flavors with juicy bits of real fruit (Strawberry, Blueberry, Black Cherry, Vanilla, Tropical Pineapple, Peach & Mango) - Excellent source of calcium and vitamin D - No cholesterol, dairy, lactose, gluten, carrageenan or casein

I also love anything in single serving sizes because if it’s a container of yogurt or frozen yogurt or what not, well, I eat it. It doesn’t matter if the container says one serving or four. I eat the whole thing.
This is the perfect little snack size though and has strawberry chunks in it.
The boys eat their yogurt plain. I can’t do that. I always have to add something or another for added crunch. I made this one into a little peanut butter and jelly type combination with powdered peanut butter and Love Grown Foods strawberry Power O’s.
It was delightful.
Next time I’m adding some dark chocolate chips in there too.
Life is good friends.
Now Silk just has to come up with a frozen dairy-free alternative treat and we’ll be all set. Right?

Do you eat yogurt or dairy-free yogurt alternatives?
If so, what’s your favorite flavor and/or favorite toppings?
